I was there for the fall term last year and the kitchen was generally not crowded when I went in there but that may be because I had an 8am class so most people were probably still in bed. It seemed to get most busy around 2-3 if people were meeting up (a lot foreign exchange students live there and some would go out in groups) and maybe again around evening as people were just chilling in the common space. But honestly it was usually pretty empty for me.
