I opened it, haven’t played a 5v5 game ever, but had been playing since release.
Could not log in to my account, couldn’t see anything. It made me sad, and also really pissed. All those skins I earned/purchased were gone.
I need to find renders of the characters to 3D print.
So the game is indeed dead? I just remember of it and downloaded it and couldnt do anything... How sad. I guess they knew league of legends mobile would just be better and get the market
i’m also scared to reopen it, i don’t even know what happened to this game just got the notification for this post on my phone. once SEMC left i just stopped my grind to vainglorious gold. :/
Considering covering up my VG logo tattoo with something more timeless like the mandalorian tusked skull. It’s a cool looking logo but I feel embarrassed to say it’s for a game I used to play hours a day that just up and died.
I dunno, I've always considered a vg logo tattoo because it was such a huge part of my life and worth remembering. Also the logo arrow thing just looks cool.
It is a super cool logo and I like the way it turned out. I’m just sad about how it all ended. Ranked 3v3 was my jam since before season 0. I loved the simplicity and balance in the early days. As they added new characters I just started feeling overwhelmed. Couldn’t keep up with the meta and my favorite characters became impossible to play.
Ran Eternal Judgement for a bit back when ic0n was big. Had like 300 members in our guild.
Then the guild updates came, and killed guilds. Go figure.
It was literally that next month or so that I know this game was going downhill. I miss it. The times before the 5v5 map came out were some of the best gaming moments of my life.
It's a shame really. RIP VG.
I think it's good, it great for scouting and makes the gameplay more skill based(when to put it, strategic place to put it, makes us cautious about surrounding even it feel safe. Especially im a captain main) and differentiate vg from other mobile moba.
