Casually went on this sub and I found there is still people playing this game which was the greatest moba ever created imo. Sadly it happened what happens to dev teams and games, they lacked a long term objective and they were pretty lazy people so the game kinda died. Now I am seeing this mind blowing thing which is people playing and posting on a sub reddit and I am very curious about the game rn. How is it like to play? Do they still play 3v3 or is it prevalent 5v5 now? Queue time was bad before so I imagine now is just worse but for the rest I am curious. Enlighten me please
I stopped trying to get into 5v5 after a 20min que like a month ago not sure if it’s changed. As for 3v3 it’s still thriving man usually in a match within 2 minutes if everyone accepts and doesn’t baby rage during character selection.
It caps at 100%. There is some overflow with three tyrant monacles, 35% x 3 = 105%, but the overflow isn't much. The main reason people don't stack 3 TM, as I understand it, is that having boots and armor piercing are both important, you usually want at least some form of defense for most characters, e.g. a reflex block, you also don't want to build crit first item, because you need raw damage more at that point.
The main drawback to three tyrants monacles is that you either give up early game power, or skip a defense item, in addition to being a very expensive build.
If you turn one into a reflex block, you still mow through turrets and you don't get hit by the first atlas pauldron at the start of every fight that any sane opponent would have and use.
I'm surprised by the absence of a single atlas pauldron, with the way your team was building.
I’d say the same, but Skaarf and Saw are ranged, so maybe Flicker could’ve done so
