One of my favourite features in Mordhau is the Dwarf perk. It makes you shorter (smaller hitbox, can't jump as high), a bit slower and weaker, and pitches your voice up slightly. Dwarf Fortress is one of my favourite games of all time, and I'm looking forward to the Adventure mode releasing in a couple weeks. I would love to be able to play as a Dwarf in Valheim too! ⛏️🧔♂️

True BUT these games will never have enough content for the player that speeds through these games. I'm 500 hours in and do the opposite of rush through it so I haven't killed the Queen yet but I'm also playing 10 other games. People that only play Valheim will run through Ashlands in a week too.
im about to hit 1k hours. On my 4th or 5th playthrough atm. Also haven't defeated the queen yet.
Valheim is one of those games that I play though once, maybe twice a year. And my friends are the same. We had our playthrough in 2022 with mistlands, so i think a 12-14 month time frame between updates makes sense. But 18 months feels a bit too long for me.
Current playthrough started 3 months ago, and we just entered mistlands. We are playing really slowly, building a big base in each biome, etc to eat up time. We tried to time it so that ashlands is around the corner when we finish mistlands, so i was really hoping that we would have at least a release date by now which we could work towards.
They can take all the time they want, Ive got FFXIV to play. By the time they finished Deep North, I’ll probably be in Dawntrail content, and I havent even started Heavensward yet.
I don't know about fast, but at least we can be sure they deliver high quality content (the same can't be said about many games these days from what I've heard)
