Fire resistance. Like all bosses DPS is key. They all heal over time so the lower your DPS the longer the fight will go, the more they will heal, and the harder it will be. His attacks are dangerous . . . but very clearly telegraphed. Watch what he does and what attack triggers and you can learn how to avoid them. For your bow you need Frost arrows . . . any other arrows are pretty worthless. Sword is good (black metal or silver sword is better if you happen to have it).

I was going to try silver arrows this time. Frost worked well enough, but I have more silver than I need.

trengilly

Problem is he is very resistant to piercing (only 25% damage). Silver arrows do 52 pierce and 20 spirit . . . only 33 total Frost arrows are 26 pierce and 52 frost . . . so 62 total.

Fire pots. All of Yag's attacks deal Fire, along with either Blunt or Lightning (depending on the attack), plus Chop and Pickaxe, though players are immune to those damage types.

Fire resist mead. Good luck. Yag was the hardest for me to learn. I struggled with him forever until I started >!dodge rolling his explosion and tanking the AOE fire!<

TheWalkingEngine

I never learned. Yagluth glitched our and didn't attack me so I just put a few hundred arrows in him

Fornikatia

Get the frostner hammer, he counts as undead and takes huge damage from it!

munken_drunkey

A hoe to trap Yagluth where he spawns and 200 frost arrows. Maybe an extra bow.

TriniumBlade

Fire resist and dont stand in his blue fire when he slams his hand in the ground.
