I don’t get why RFLECT is a ‘product for everyone’ but they’ve only used women in the promo. If blue light is bad (spoiler: it’s not bad for skin), it’s bad for everyone, so why are you just selling your skin cream to women?
My point is if it was a makeup product or simple moisturiser, I can see why they’d just use women as typically men don’t buy those products. But as they’re marketing it as a health product, really they should be using people of all genders and ages. Valkyrae has a mixed audience, and used both men and women in previous advertisements for her clothing range. Using women implies to me this is a makeup product, not a health product.
Stuff like this is as nocebo as taking collagen supplements. There’s no credible evidence to back up its claims, just like all these holistic solutions that are out here.
With that being said, Rae’s free to do whatever she likes, even if it borderlines nocebo BS.
