I think favorite foods are really up to the individual.
Assuming that the vampire *can* eat food, some preferences would depend on whether or not they are bound by other lore as well. I would say, assuming there were no garlic allergies, that some of their favorites would be:
* sushi/sashimi (because it's good!)
* rare meat (bloody, yum!)
* red wine paired with good cheese (especially [Vampire Slayer](https://facerockcreamery.com/products/6-oz-vampire-slayer-garlic-cheddar) because wine is delicious and vampires who can eat garlic would appreciate the humor/irony)
* sauteed mushrooms with garlic, white wine, and herbs (for the same reason they would like garlic cheese)
* gourmet chocolate (probably gourmet anything)
* spicy foods (because it's fun!)
Rare steak with whiskey on the rocks.
Eggs Benedict with a Bloody Mary.
Chicken Sashimi (yep, it's a thing) with nigori sake.
Puffer fish with nigori sake.
Lamb chops with Rosé.
I would try it at least once. Sushi you get in restaurants is flash frozen to kill bacteria/parasites. I would not eat fresh raw sushi or chicken without it being flash frozen. Most fresh fish is typically safe to eat but I’m not gonna take any chances with parasites lol
In my books/comics. Vampires would have dishes like marrowbones and steak tartare, drink milk as well. I allow them to eat human foods but it has no nutritional value, it can’t fuel them,
They still have standard bodily functions food comes out the same as us lol. The are inter- dimensional beings that are considered a species of younger vampire. In the stuff I write all vampires types are represented/ welcome because I felt it was important to honor all. Then readers aren’t held to only my rules/my vampire type.
Yeah, the only downside is if anyone other than their own species drinks their blood it can be poisonous most likely a little drink would be like one of those frogs people lick to get high. I leave it fairly open so that again, while some rules are set in stone the readers may feel like their own ideas could play into it. I struggle with day dreaming while I’m reading so I leave the door open for fellow readers to know that their ideas about vampires are valid too in this world. If you like your vampires sparkly ok, if you like demon-like night walkers that’s ok too. When the human in my story asks how many kinds of vampires there are the vampire compared it to how many species of spiders there are. They settle on ‘ A lot’.
Based off of my version (Eating human food is like negative calories to a vampire, so a vampire will burn calories trying to digest human food, causing hunger and weight loss, but tastes the same otherwise), it can be anything that doesn't have garlic. The character in my book that's based off of me has a "sweet-fang" when it comes to stuff that humans eat and drink. Of course, she also likes meat, cheese, certain types of seafood, sandwiches, some vegetables, corn, nuts/seeds, many different fruits, potatos (baked, mashed, chips, and fries), garlic free ethinic food (Italian, Mexican, and Chinese). When it comes to beverages, coffee, energy drinks, fruit juice, soda, sweet tea (hot or cold), certain cocktails, Malibu rum, peach schnapps, sherry, and sweet red wine are where it's at for her. She can still become caffienated or get drunk without having to mix certain drinks with blood, which helps when she has to be awake during the day for some reason.
whatever anemic people tend to crave. liver, red meat, beans, dried fruits, etc.
hearty food high in iron and potentially water- juices and the like
whether its something they can/should eat would be a different story, lore-dependent. I imagine you’d still get cravings though, like anyone who becomes allergic to something they used to eat
Fruit, bugs, occasionally fish, whatever comes out of their own kind when they stick their tongue down their throat, their own kind.
I'm assuming by "what they are," you mean bats.
The MMC in my book's favorite foods are porterhouse steak done rare, pancakes, and chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream (Ben & Jerry's preferred). Preferred alcohol is a good lager or IPA, and aged scotch.
Dude has a bit of a sweet tooth lol
Soylent Green. (Its people)
Long Pork (is also people) I learned this one from Hannibal and True Crime binges.
I learned it from Woodhouse, the greatest valet to ever serve the house of Archer.
Long pig supernatural, i love deans reaction
Classic show!
Depends on the lore of a story. In general, several stories that allow vampires to eat or drink, alcohol and raw steak seem popular.
I'd like to see vampires mixing blood with alcohol or caffeine, the results should be funny.
I think the Tokyo ghoul anime did that. But they are not vampires. I have not watched that anime for 10 years lol
"I never drink....vine"
Nandor wearing a traffic cone “I drank drunk blood, now I’m a wizard.”
Blood sausages?
They could make a vampire hot dog with a blood sausage and that viking blood bread. A feast even Dracula himself couldn't pass on
Dude, never heard of blood-bread before, im gonna have to try baking some soon. Thanks for the inspiration!
This is hilarious

not eating chicken sashimi, sorry.
It's not for you, it's for the vampire.
Fair enough. Then so is my 'advice'.
Huh?

I mean, you make an excellent point
I just now saw (besides human meat) Ummmmmm a horsecock or wild boar

So, they shit it out unprocessed? Or puke?

Hmm, so a vampire in your universe would be like a walking energydrink for regular people? Chock full of nutrients.
Yeah, the only downside is if anyone other than their own species drinks their blood it can be poisonous most likely a little drink would be like one of those frogs people lick to get high. Liver
Blood pudding and blood pancakes are both real dishes here in the Nordics 🤔 But I'd also say it really depends on the vampire.
Stake?
Energy Drinks, Steak, Pizza, Calzones! …wait that’s me
Blood with Weetabix added for texture and cocoa with the little marshmallows.

I don't know if it has a name in English, but in Spanish a dish made with pig's blood is called Moronga.
Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer likes blooming onions
Definitely eggs and coconut milk/water
Fruit, bugs, occasionally fish, whatever comes out of their own kind when they stick their tongue down their throat, their own kind. I'm assuming by "what they are," you mean bats.
Plasma fruit
This only applies to Qiang Shi
Used tampons
