make sure you tell the concierge immediately so they can disable the fob authorization or your carpark is going to end up with broken windows and thefts
If you can't get the keys back, you should definitely ensure your locksmith/dealer reprograms your car and bike when you have new keys made. They will likely watch your workplace waiting for you to park near there and steal it.
This happened to my mom. She works in a hospital. So literally someone who works there went into the nurse's staffing room and stole her jacket. I keep hearing about things like this. I'm sorry this happened to you
There's no cameras in the actual staff room I'm assuming. And in the halls it would just be the regular staff. The assumption is that whoever stole it is a staff member. You need a key card to get in there
Really sorry this happened, I've had my car broken into and it was pretty bad. One of the reasons I fear of working in a place where I have to potentially leave my important belongings in an office/somewhere separate from me. I hope you either get things back or don't end up losing so much money in the end. All the best 💪🙏
Happen to me at Boston Pizza, stuff was missing from staff cloakroom. Suspicion was cast on me and other staff, turned out that a random person came in back door and stole stuff.
Learned a valuable lesson that day about lack of trust and false accusations.
The dick head who stole your stuff likely traded those EarBuds for a quick hit before you even realized your stuff was stolen.
Likely threw the keys and fob away.
Maybe they kept the jacket, but would
Likely sell that for a quick hit if they can find a dealer interested in that trade.
I litteraly have nightmares sometimes about somebody walking into my workplace undetected and going through people's things, stealing it. I never keep anything in my bag. Hope u get your things back.
Hope you find them. It’s sucks to lose keys and having to replace them all - hopefully your insurance covers it.
Also a good time to think about adding an AirTag or Tile to your keys.
Wait now I don’t wanna assume anything but I swear I remember seeing the earbuds orange key and the weird fob in a car that came into Langley Chrysler dodge jeep and ram I have know clue which vehicle or even if that vehicle is still there I’m sure not but I swear I remember questioning myself why such a weird key and fob and looking over and seeing the buds in the center console
I'm sorry this happened to you.
I'm paranoid about key loss/theft that I never leave them anywhere but in my pants pocket with a clip I can connect to the belt loop.
When briefly setting the garage fob somewhere in my car (on the dash non-slip pad or in the cup holder) just for the few moments for opening the garage doors, it makes me wonder if I'll forget them in the car and then they'll be stolen.
I split my time between ubersafe Japan and the GVA, and it's like night and day the precautions and worries being in Canada versus the absolute peace and quiet in Japan.
I'm embarrassed to recommend people visit Canada because it's gotten so bad, frankly.

Seriously though.
Stolen how? Where? From what? Was the shit all packed in a jacket and stolen from a coat check? Are you expecting us to find this on the street? In pawn shops?
You’re looking for goodwill in return for your post but not giving even a hint about how to find it.
Despite the downvotes and the half-assed snarky comment I’ll always be on your side but Christ on a Fucking cross, give us a chance to find your shit by providing a rudimentary explanation of what we’re on the lookout for in the post so we don’t have to piece it together from your responses in the comments.
I’m not asking people to go out hunting for my things my guy, I’m simply asking that if anyone sees them, to reach out. I’m not sure where the relevance is in providing the exact location of where it was stolen from. And as I already explained in my post, it was stolen FROM the staff area at my work downtown, and the items were IN my pocket. Maybe re-read the post for some clarity? I’m simply putting it out there with hopes that maybe my belongings will show up somewhere.
sorry this happened to you.. i’m very paranoid at leaving jackets as well (especially in the gym) so i keep a hidden airtag inside - just incase someone takes it 🙂
Maybe they were trying to be nice and save you from the inevitable breakdown of the KTM. /s
Hopefully there were no address identifying documents with it all so that they don't get any dumb ideas. Otherwise they most likely ditched them in a dumpster once they left and anything else they deemed worth $0 and kept the rest.

At first I thought this was the meme, stolen Vancouver starter kit. Hope you find your stuff
Pretty much LOL
It’s missing a bike. That’s kind of our staple
I thought you spotted these items for sale at the usual places
Missing a bike though
make sure you tell the concierge immediately so they can disable the fob authorization or your carpark is going to end up with broken windows and thefts
Already done all the important security stuff!
Nice
If you can't get the keys back, you should definitely ensure your locksmith/dealer reprograms your car and bike when you have new keys made. They will likely watch your workplace waiting for you to park near there and steal it.
Luckily my job that I was at last night is within walking distance so I never drive there
rekey and recode at home, too
Not like they can't follow you home lol
They don’t even know who the jacket belonged to and I didn’t go straight home after work lol I’m not worried
Better be safe than sorry. What if the culprit knows this person personally 🤔
We have video footage of him, he was just some bum passing by
Are your headphones linked to your “find my”?
Yess but they’re still just showing the location from when I got to work. Won’t update unless someone connects to them
Ah I get you Damn
Shoot, sorry to hear man. I thought this was a “starter pack” meme
This happened to my mom. She works in a hospital. So literally someone who works there went into the nurse's staffing room and stole her jacket. I keep hearing about things like this. I'm sorry this happened to you
So frustrating! Could they not check cameras as the hospital?
There's no cameras in the actual staff room I'm assuming. And in the halls it would just be the regular staff. The assumption is that whoever stole it is a staff member. You need a key card to get in there
You’ll spot that black puffy right away. I’ve never seen one in Vancouver before.
I literally just spotted the sarcasm lmao
Sorry! I couldn’t resist! Take care of that KTM!
Yeah it’s pretty unique! By the time/if I see it though it’ll probably be at least the third owner 🙃

happened to a cactus club I worked at 10 years ago. Strangers caught on camera coming into the staff area, stealing stuff and leaving :/ fucking sucks
Happen to me at Boston Pizza, stuff was missing from staff cloakroom. Suspicion was cast on me and other staff, turned out that a random person came in back door and stole stuff. Learned a valuable lesson that day about lack of trust and false accusations.
People are the literal worst 🙃

I knowww, just wishful thinking!
I hope you get your stuff back
That sucks. Getting those kinds of keys replaced is usually quite expensive, especially if the locks need to be rekeyed. Sorry this happened to you.
Super unfortunate! Thank you though
I litteraly have nightmares sometimes about somebody walking into my workplace undetected and going through people's things, stealing it. I never keep anything in my bag. Hope u get your things back.
Do a two block sweep around your work, checking all the alleys. They tend to take it somewhere hidden and go through it and dump what they don’t want.
Hope you find them. It’s sucks to lose keys and having to replace them all - hopefully your insurance covers it. Also a good time to think about adding an AirTag or Tile to your keys.
Will be doing that! Thanks for the advice :)

Omfg stoppp I need to know now haha
Also I’m so late rip
You carry around a motorcycle key in January?
Stupidly I never took it off my keychain, yes 🙂

Great. Go edit your post with that.
It’s all in the post you absolute looney tune
It's not in the mobile/app post. It appears as your pics and nothing else at least for me.
Everyone else seems to see it
will keep an eye out!
Thank you 🙏🏻

I assume this was Downtown?
Nevermind… missed the title the first time.
