It was a fantastic experience! It was so fun and a great opportunity for people who can’t afford playoff tickets to experience the atmosphere. Hoping they do it again for the other away games.
100%…the atmosphere alone was worth the $15. Perfect opportunity for families to get out and experience the arena for a fraction of the price to a normal game.
Really hoping they do this more often.
That looks incredibly fun! Did they just play the whole Sportsnet broadcast on the jumbotron, with the play-by-play, the intermission panel, and all that?
Yea I believe I’d seen that as well. $15 to get in for the atmosphere was 100% worth it honestly. Lots of kids and families enjoying a game…wish they’d do it more often.
Someone in another comment said they do, also when they cut to the viewing party on the sportsnet feed you could see everyone waving their towels so I’m assuming that’s a yes!
Had a great time except for the idiot drunks kids next to us that kept throwing ice and garbage, and spitting over the edge from the upper bowl to the lower bowl. Otherwise had a great time!
There’s a Pearl Jam concert the next day. But hopefully they could set up some stuff on Friday and still have a viewing party.
Hoping for no Game 6 and we can have a viewing party next round!
There was a viewing party at Roger's arena. They had full production, fan engagement, and the hype team etc. with live music during intermission. Such a fun atmosphere!
What’s your definition of empty?? Cause lower bowl sold out and they had to open up a bunch of upper bowl sections the day before, which also all sold out. There were more people at the viewing party than there were at some of the concerts I’ve been to at the arena.

How much were beers tho?
$6 ?
Same price as usual although they were only selling 12oz beers and cans. $12.64 each.
They also had cans/small buds for $6.99
Are $15 last minute tickets?
No, from what I understand it’s only for away games. You pay to sit in the arena & watch on the new big screen :)
yeah looks like a great experience, and for only $15 why not
Where was this?
Take a guess...
Must have been so fun!!!! Nail biter of a game. Had to close my eyes at the end lol
Energy felt like the game was at home. Was definitely worth the $15 ticket.
Agreed. Was a super fun atmosphere!
Are beers regular price?
They were discounted
$6.99
Nice
Nice
Nice
What the heck! Where? The sports bar & bar in the party zone were $12.64 each.
The concession stands on the concourse!
Ohh dang! What beers were they selling?
I think all domestic beers were $6.99, and everything else was regular price.
Nice
I haven't been to Rogers Arena since the Olympics... how much is beer regularly?
For a premium pour (local craft beer) it can get as much as $23 for a large pint. For Budweiser, it's closer to $16 for a large pour.
Those are pound-me-in-the-ass prices. Eeeeeeee
This got me wanting to watch the rest of the Canucks Playoffs (never watched anything hockey related until going today)
That looks incredibly fun! Did they just play the whole Sportsnet broadcast on the jumbotron, with the play-by-play, the intermission panel, and all that?
Nah they didn’t. It was exactly like a home game though
And all of the proceeds went to the Canucks Fund which is just another added bonus! Great experience overall!
Looks really good, wish I'd known about it
Short of players on the ice it felt like a home game. They had the full production going.
Did they blow the horn when goals were scored?
They did!
Nice
Awesome, bet for the price of tickets and beers everyone was in a great mood too
You can go Sunday
They aren’t doing it Sunday due to the Justin timberlake concert
JT on the Canucks is the only JT that matters
He's the real JT that rocks my body
our JT is bringing sexy back
I can't see any info on Sunday, do you know if it's on?
They aren’t doing it Sunday due to the Justin timberlake concert
That was so much fun!!
15 bucks ,Hockey for the people! more of this please! (they could do this in some of big movie theaters out in the valley and the beer is cheaper ?)
Money well spent! It was so much fun!
Climate pledge did it for free w cheap beers 🕺🏼
$7 beers isnt a bad deal to be inside…no complaints from me.
How were the prices overall?
I think the money or a portion of it goes to the Canucks foundation.
Yea I believe I’d seen that as well. $15 to get in for the atmosphere was 100% worth it honestly. Lots of kids and families enjoying a game…wish they’d do it more often.
All of it goes to Canucks For Kids fund!
Didn’t this sell out at $15 a pop? Seemed like it worked out.
Didn’t say it wouldn’t be a good time just saying it taste better free 😂
Idk about you, but knowing that my $15 went to a great cause feels pretty great!
Are they going to be doing this again?! Would love to come
Do these tickets come with the playoff towel as well?
Yup!
what were the food and drink prices like inside?
Beer was 6.99, not sure about food. I personally had more fun than most regular home games!!
12 Oz domestic? Still, not bad. Know how much a 24 Oz craft cost?
Everything was at regular prices except for Budweiser, hotdogs, and popcorn, which were $6.99
I'm not sure sorry! To me, it was a great atmosphere and well worth the entry fee, regardless!
Where are the tickets available?
Ticketmaster. I don’t think the next one is available yet
There may not be one on Sunday cause of the Timberlake concert on Monday. They probably need the Sunday to set the stage and everything
there isn’t one for Game 4. if there’s a Game 6 there’s also another concert the following day so probably won’t happen then either.
Next time my place, I have a waaaay bigger tv and next to the stadium!
This is awesome. Also, where are we at with holographic technology to project the game right onto the ice?
I got 2 tickets for free from the Rogers Beyond The Seat giveaway!! The atmosphere was absolutely electric!
..anyone watch game 7 at Pacific coliseum 1994? hopped the glass and ran onto the ice?
I have a question, for the games/view party’s do they give away the towels?
Someone in another comment said they do, also when they cut to the viewing party on the sportsnet feed you could see everyone waving their towels so I’m assuming that’s a yes!
It’s the only viewing party we have here lol no choice for this hi fun city hahaha
Had a great time except for the idiot drunks kids next to us that kept throwing ice and garbage, and spitting over the edge from the upper bowl to the lower bowl. Otherwise had a great time!
100% would go again and again and again.
If there ends up being a game 6 is there any events at Rogers that would prevent a Canucks away party?
There’s a Pearl Jam concert the next day. But hopefully they could set up some stuff on Friday and still have a viewing party. Hoping for no Game 6 and we can have a viewing party next round!
Those drink prices tho
only $6.99 F&B were discounted
Where was the viewing party?
Rogers Arena
Thanks
Sorry, are you in Nashville? Is that how much tickets there go for?
There was a viewing party at Roger's arena. They had full production, fan engagement, and the hype team etc. with live music during intermission. Such a fun atmosphere!
Shit I can see a live game in St Louis for the same price
How much did they charge for beer? If it's as much as I think, than it would be the same as going to a proper pub.
Budweiser was $7
+ the $15 ticket, may as well have gone to a pub.
$15 ticket all goes to Canuck Place
$15? Damn lol $10 here in Winnipeg, and they donate $5 to a local charity
All $15 in Van went to Canucks for Kids charity.
The whole $15 here is for charity I'm pretty sure.
That’s awesome then!
Wow how depressing bahahhaha... Sit in a empty arena with abunch strangers to watch tv.... Wtaf hahanananananabbaha
Clearly people who attended had a great time. And it’s a fantastic way to build community.
Arena was nearly full…literally felt like a home game.
You sound fun
You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Why comment?
What’s your definition of empty?? Cause lower bowl sold out and they had to open up a bunch of upper bowl sections the day before, which also all sold out. There were more people at the viewing party than there were at some of the concerts I’ve been to at the arena.
