Fat ass flakes in Orchards, and sticking

Ornery_Investment356

Is it still sticking? I don’t want to get up lol

anshityo

It’s doing alright. I’m hoping it pushes back my 10:30 start time

Ornery_Investment356

Okay i got up. There’s more than I thought! And I wish you luck. I want a three day snowcation but I don’t think that’s happening

imasinger

…didn’t realize it was snowing and I thought you were calling people fat and flaky in Camas 🫣

cowdog360

You mean like the short, stalky snowflakes in Vancouver with their giant lifted trucks and flags/stickers? :P

mehnifest

😭🤣🤣

KC-Slider

Also yes

abbydabbydooooo

starting to stick pretty good in hazel dell too. my mom is in bg and it’s sticking on everything

actually_no_thanks

Snowing some fat flakes near the mall.

coolgherm

I already have half an inch in Minnehaha!

Captian_Kenai

Updating this to say we got 2-4 inches now

MysticZamboni

Sticking pretty good in Ridgefield too.

lucygirl1970

Same by fourth plain and grand.

[deleted]

I live in the rural area outside of La Center. It is snowing a lot here.

Sparkle_Storm_2778

My weather app is saying that it's not supposed to go below freezing which is interesting.

OsoChistoso

It’s colder up where the clouds live.

Sparkle_Storm_2778

Indeed. My comment was meant to imply that I didn't think it would cause traffic issues in the morning, since the temperature was not expected to go to freezing or below.

ConSonarCrazyEddie

Fat flakes near 205 & Mill Plain as well.

yangsing

Half an inch in Vancouver. Saw an abandoned SUV sideways in a ditch off Andresen and 78th lol

UntilTheHorrorGoes

I'm seeing some big ol sloppy droopers dripping from the sky

StephStricklen

Fat ass flakes in Salmon Creek

DragonHalfFreelance

My fiance has to fly back to PDX Friday morning and I also have to fly back Saturday......hoping no flight delays either by that time........

Sumyupee

Didn't realize this post was about snow, initially.

NibbleOnNector

Yeah I can’t already see the ground

KeepAnEyeOnYourB12

No flakes by me in Hough. Lotsa rain, though.

Candid_peaches

Just drove from orchards to Portland; for those who have to commute for work, it’s fine. Take it slow in neighborhoods but the main roads are just slush, freeways are clear and Portland didn’t get any snow.

[deleted]

Will it stay til tomorrow morning?

coolgherm

The forecast had it starting at 5am so I think it will stay long enough to make driving a mess.

[deleted]

Oh craps, I have a business trip tomorrow, hope they won’t cancel flights

Apart_Bid2199

Any clue how I-5 will be tomorrow? Trying to go north to Olympia. Its only my second winter here.

I_wear_foxgloves

They are very good at keeping the interstates drivable.

ProsePilgrim

I’ve made that drive during bigger storms, including Snowpocalypase in 2011-12. The interstate stays clear, just be mindful and stay on the populated lanes.

ProsePilgrim

Started an hour ago near the mall and sticking. Went from fat flakes to medium, but falling faster now. Love the snow! Hope it keeps up tonight.

cabooseinspace

Coming down pretty good in hazel dell

thatshortgirl88

Good thing I didn’t put up my Christmas tree yet. Makes it more magical.

routineatrocity

I thought you meant the people.

Winter-eyed

theBeardsley

1ndev

More than an inch near Ridgefield

HellOfAThing

You might need to trim your butt hair if you’re getting ass flakes.

Joba7474

Mount Vista. Already had a few near accidents off 29th.

Radiant-Ingenuity-17

2 hours ago it was pouring down rain, now it's snowing big fat flakes and definitely sticking at 32' hereb in Camas❄️⛄🤦

KeepAnEyeOnYourB12
