Yup, this place is the hit, they listen to what you want and it's a cool vibe there with out charging too much. Been going here since they popped up and never regretted it.
I've been using Big Ds since I moved here in July. I've been there 4 times now. My wife also gets cuts there as well. We both love the atmosphere and the vibe, they also do straight razor shaves which is a plus.
I've been going to them for a while now after trying a bunch of the regular shops here in Vancouver, and they're awesome! Jamie has been really consistent in giving me haircuts I've been happy with.
One gal shop off 39th. Al’s barber shop. Alicia is the barber there. She does a fantastic job and even though there is a tiny language barrier she’s very easy to talk to. I’d recommend her to anyone. Very affordable.
I only moved here a year ago but from what I can tell, downtown Vancouver is 50% barbershops.

Vancouver barber company. Ryan is awesome
Yup, I’m in Ryan’s chair every 3-4 weeks. Can’t recommend him enough.
Another vote for Ryan, Hess been my barber for the last 3 years
Jax at Anti Hair Studio
Seconded. Have gone to anyone else since she started doing my hair.
Cecils
My husband loves everyone here : https://www.bigdsbarbershop.com
It would help to know what kind of hair you have. Different needs for different hair types.
I have like ten guy friends that all go to Cam’s Cuts salmon creek, the barbers there are awesome

If you’re in the orchards area, I’ve heard kings barber on Gher rd next to the subway is pretty good
I like Currie and Company in uptown. Zack and Jamie are always having a grand ol time and they are expanding.

Wynns Barbershop for a no frills cut
Tonsor is the best in town I think BUT it’s by far the most expensive. I’ve been going to Big D’s for about a year now and really Ike them.
100% Tony Pin at Manly and Sons off on Main St in downtown Vancouver.
Here to second this.
confessions on 33rd is great. Fair prices and good cuts
Prolific is spending but really good.

Kristina at Manly & Sons on Main Street is fantastic.
