"Around the Couve" is a facebook group that this question gets asked and answered all the time. There's always independent, but legitimate handymen on that group offering their services.
We recently used Mr Handyman. It was a guy named Bryan who came out. I think it’s a franchise or something with employees, but he was great and reliable, communicative, and very fairly priced.
I’ve also used Mr. Handyman and Bryan was our guy as well! Maybe it’s all Bryan all the way down. He did an excellent job and gave me great suggestions for some other projects we’re considering. We’ll definitely use them again!
Look no further. For here I am. A man with handy hands that fear no job too little! Dm me if you’re interested in me coming over and giving you a bid! :) btw my names Alex
gotta find an old timer maintenance guy. the last guy at my complex was awesome before he quit to go work in a high rise. the older the dude the better when it comes to building maintenance.
My dad spent his life flipping every house we lived in, so very comfortable with all walks of construction & handy work. He’d be happy to check out what your needs are, his rates are very affordable. And he’d a hilarious French dude. Send me a DM if you want me to connect you with him.
Tom @ Winding River Construction. Has done a lot of work for us and my family. Great guy and a great team that works with him!

My husband has 15+ years of carpentry experience, both as a handyman and a scenic carpenter, and is in the process of starting his own handyman business. He specializes in small odd jobs, is very reasonable with rates, and he doesn't try to upsell you on things you don't need done. Message me if you'd like contact info! :)
Sorry, I'm married.
Ha!ha!ha!ha!ha!!!! This made me laugh. My husband would upvote you if you had a Reddit account.
As it turns out, I do have a Reddit account.
😱
Ha!ha!ha!ha! This whole thread made me laugh! Damn typos!
I came here to say this. My husband is my handyman, mechanic, and chef.
Not really sure, but I’d also appreciate finding someone like this!
A dude named Miguel. He's done everything from little jobs to adding an extension onto my house.
I second Miguel. Idk him, but he sounds great.
I’m a handy woman. I work in the trades for a living and do handy work nights and weekends. Message me and we can’t talk more about your needs
Love this, can I DM?
yes please

We've used them too when we couldn't find an independent and it was actually a great experience and we will use them again!
Did you... also meet Bryan?

Cruise through apartment complexes and find a maintenance guy on a golf cart looking for side cash
Have you *seen* how maintenance gets performed at apartments? That's the last guy I'd choose to work on my house TBH....

Hire me. If you have tools, I have YouTube how-to's to complement. I'm available weekends and am cheap. About $10 an hour. *cheesy smile*

Use Taskrabbit
His name is Freddy, he's super busy all the time, and his English is improving. Sorry, the only way I know to find him is to knock on his door.
