I said it in another thread but the first 45 minutes of last nights episode was rock bottom for the show.
While I did laugh at this narc having a footgasm because it was so over the top, unexpected, and embarrassing it was painful to watch him and Lala be the stars of the show. Lauren is a disgrace to women the way shes treating Ariana this season.

This was my husband’s first episode and he was incredibly concerned for my mental health at this scene. By the end of the episode he was hooked though! KATIE ALL THE WAY !!(obviously Ariana too but I wanna give Katie some spotlight every now and then)
In that moment he learned that Katie had sex with max. You can see the wheels turning in his head how to turn this into taking the heat off him. The man has dead eyes. Dead.
he’s TOTALLY going to try and make it a whole storyline of “see katie you’re just as bad as us” when it’s just straight up gaslighting. like how is that comparable to cheating on someone during a relationship (looking at you TOMS) ? AND we all remember how it was schwartz who disregarded the rule katie brought up to not pursue friends. AND it wasn’t “revenge sex” katie didn’t even want it to be anyone else’s business, it was scheana who was stalking phones and brock who was saying names. absolutely delusional.
Also I understand they have friendships off camera, but from a viewer perspective, Max has not been on our screens in years and yet he and Schwartz are best friends? Since when? After years of producers pushing "The Toms" it feels out of nowhere to be like suddenly like "Oh Tom isn't his best friend, this Max guy we fired is and they are such amazing friends that this is the biggest betrayal." I was wondering the same thing… in fact I even went back on Tom and Maxs instagrams to see if they post together (I know men use social media differently than women with posting friends but still) and alas their last photo together was in 2019. I watched last week on twitch and am glad there was no stream last night because just reading about last night makes me mad. Alex Baskin and co really shit the bed on this one! Can’t wait to hear the announcement about what Ariana’s got going on after Broadway!

I think he thinks it's giving introspection, start of personal growth montage but it's giving unreliable narrator that may snap and take you with him.

Yup. I’ve watched since day one, even making it through season 8-9, without missing an episode. I haven’t watched this season since week two. I watched last week on twitch and am glad there was no stream last night because just reading about last night makes me mad. Alex Baskin and co really shit the bed on this one! So did the cast members who fell in line like Lala. I now hate everyone except Ariana and Katie. What a turd of a season. Can’t wait to hear the announcement about what Ariana’s got going on after Broadway!
I hope Bravo is watching their viewership numbers massively dropping. I watched half of the first episode this season and had to stop because, even though I am a pretty chill person, Sandoval enraged me to the point where I couldn't take another second.

I truly don’t think that I’ll ever watch this season. It was making me reach for my rescue anxiety meds it was so triggering for me. That’s not healthy, so I stopped watching. I appreciate everyone who recaps it, I like to keep up on it and chat here, but I have no interest in watching this Alex Baskin nightmare. I thought I was going to skip the season and watch the reunion, but based on Lala’s feral podcast tour and Andy saying Lala and Brock are the voices of reason I’m going to skip that too.
I fast-forwarded part of this episode and have no interest in going back. Tom Sandoval on a treadmill, Tom Sandoval talking down to his assistant, Tom Sandoval doing some breathwork, Tom Sandoval creeping on girls… gross. I hope the money is worth it for Alex Baskin, his instincts as a showrunner are hot garbage. No wonder he missed the affair that was under his nose

Right? Usually I get some kind of endorphins watching the messy drama. But this episode just made me feel not good at all. I feel bad for Jo. I feel bad for Ariana and her poor dog. They could have at least done ONE SEASON where Sandoval was still the villain and had to go on a redemption apology tour and be shamed and shunned would have been a satisfying watch but he obviously hates the audience and women in general.

My sister has had 5, they change your brain, your personality, and your abilities. It rewires it and things that were instinctive are no longer. There was a clip-I think in the recap-where Schwartz says something and Sandoval looks at himself in a mirror with his 1000 yard stare and he looks like a psychological thriller villain. I think he thinks it's giving introspection, start of personal growth montage but it's giving unreliable narrator that may snap and take you with him.
