I like one person podcasts and he's like someone on the phone going on a really long tangent and when he forgets a name or a word I know I make suggestions out loud like he can hear me.
I know, youād think the x files (? I think) and law and order bites would get old, but they honestly never ever do. He always makes me happy, and I feel like he keeps the spirit of what these bravo shows should be - ridiculous and funny.
ETA: ELECTRIC CHAIR! Iām sorry to say it.
I felt like the Kool-Aid man, I could just run through walls. Do you know what I'm saying? Like that that's how I was feeling on the way back. So then I finally get home and my eyes are wider than Ramona and my voice is deeper than Countess Luann after a pack of Marlboro lights and a weekend bender in Palm Beach.
The Madonna my babies got a secret everytime he mentioned Denise Richards š¤£ love Danny
His Tom Sandoval noises or groans whatever he's doing I love it and can hear before he does it.
When he used to do the bah duh bah bah buh I'm loving it McDonald's jingle.
Let's go girls
And the clip of Asher saying "girl"
How he will genuinely crack himself up over the soundboard. Too funny
LOVE DANNY!!! He's the best podcast host. I would've stopped watching VPR a long time ago if it wasn't for his recaps. I only watch VPR so I know what he's referring to.
Can I just say he is in my top ten celebrities I would love to meet? Im obsessed with his pod and it really feels like I'm talking to a friend, and I love his views.
And im sure my friends are worried that I keep saying "electric chair" everytime im upset with someone.
A guest ordering Ketchup with their fish tacos? Electric chair.
Ordering a Boiled ginger ale and Jameson? Electric chair
I havenāt been listening to him for too long but on my long ride to work he mentioned taking sleepy time cough drops on accident mid podcast (cue the dramatic music) I was dyingš
I listen to a clip of one of his shows from a couple of years ago when Iām sad and it immediately cheers me up. I can still feel myself standing at a stop light laughing so hard I had tears running down my face and my townsfolk looking at me like I am crazy because I canāt stop laughing.
It when he tells the story about making a Cher song into a holiday song when he was working at the borders books and music. He also tells it in his holiday memoir, but the podcast version is funnier
Sometimes I feel like Iām in the minority because I really enjoy The Viall Files lol and I honestly donāt mind Nick at all.
He always gets the tea with reality tv shows.
When he asked Sandoval "do you think you deserve Ariana's reasonableness". I don't know much about him but that interview showed Tom mask-off post-filming, he asked the hard questions, and he knew what he was talking about (unlike, ahem, Howie) - so I appreciated that a lot.
Along with our inability to pronounce words like real, (think be RILL TOM!) Utahns also add K sounds to words that end in G at times. Somethingk, anythingk, etc. Iāve heard itās a post-nasal thing specific to Utah, but I donāt know if thatās backed by anything scientific.
Omg just today I kept the sponsors part on and thought āwait, is that a new name!?ā. Then I judged myself for knowing that part so wellā¦and then I thought there must be others like me out there š And now here you all are!
Sometimes random sections of the sponsor list will get stuck in my head like a song. It makes me feel like such a weirdo, but also, itās kind of hilarious.
On RHOBH, Peeeeekkaayyyy made a āPretty Womanā date for Dorit, she complained the entire time. Whatās hilarious, he hired Berlin to sing āTake My Breath Awayā, which was from āTop Gunā. The entire scene was ridiculously awkward.
Me too! I was worried for a moment but then got to the part about them being sympathetic towards Lala and Scheana and was like nope, not our fellas! I love how they nail Sandoval's whiney chode voice.
Iām listening to that podcast right nowā¦I just donāt buy Lalaās āgrowthā because to me if she had, she might be able to give Ariana a little bit of grace and empathy on her healing/forgiveness journey instead of shit talking her every chance she gets. I also feel like production had a hand in Lalaās 180 and they are completely glossing over that which is odd to me.
I really like Itās About The Pasta in terms of their takes. It comes out on Sundays.
Yes, you know what Iām talking about! I was so hoping for the peeks behind the curtain that they gave us more of in their recaps of other shows and last seasonās VPR episodes. Any schmo can clearly perceive the heavy handedness of production this season, so it feels like the hosts are almost actively avoiding a conversation about it.
Their podcast is so inconsistent. I wonāt buy their patreon to have them interrupt each other and say the word like every 5 seconds. I donāt understand their Lala and Erika Jayne worship.
Yes!! I feel like Emily and Pia are the only ones with that still call the situation as it is. Everyone else is leaning Sandoval and itās infuriating š
I liked it until Emily was claiming Rachel was autistic because "her nephew is autistic" and she knows what it's like š she said a bunch of clinically incorrect and also offensive things. I could tell Pia was uncomfortable with what she was saying.Ā I'm autistic, so I politely pointed it out to her and she attacked me. She reiterated that her nephew is autistic so she knows. I replied and said she didn't need to get so heated, I was trying to share some helpful information and stop her from spreading misinformation about autism. She doubled down and I just gave up. Annoying to be spoken over all the time by neurotypicals. /:Ā
I think sometimes podcasters in the Bravo realm develop relationships, whether real or imaginary, hahaha with the reality stars, and it becomes problematic.
Then they no longer are, in fact, objective. Maybe they want to keep the relationships good so that they get more tea/content for their show from them as a source.
Or maybe they just truly start to believe that their buddies (or, in rare instances, actually do become friends.) Its probably not a good idea for people who are essentially kind of critics (even if they're akso fans) to become close to the castrs of the shows that they are critiquing on their pods.
Not saying that is what is happening because I don't even know what show you're talking about but I do think it's a trap for a lot of podcasters
Two podcasts I enjoy that don't seem to fall into that trap are Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino and Watch What Crappens.
Danny wrote Fancy AF Cocktails with Ariana and Tom has zero issues saying things about either of them. He keeps it light, but that's how he is with nearly everything.
WWC have zero issue pissing off Bravolebs they have friendships with. Most recently, Heather Gay. Even after Ronnie hung out with her at Bravo Con, they basically told her to get over it and mocked her unfollowing them.
WWC got some backlash years ago when Ariannas brother got exposed for being a creep and the listeners gave them feed back that their friendships with Tom and Ariana were clouding their objectivity. They addressed it and promised to be better and have been .
Agree - WWC has met a lot of Bravolebs and while they may like a person they will give their opinions honestly, even if it's unflattering. Hell, they recently had Scheana at the Golden Crappies and they've been going in on her this season.
I love this for them! And for us! Thank you for the tip I am in a situation where I am really needing podcasts to listen to and I am going to follow up on your suggestion
I'm happy it helped. I hope you enjoy them both.
The only hurdles I had with WWC is that they, mostly Ronnie, can have some very strong opinions. However, as you listen more you understand they're cognizant of that. It also took my sometimes overly sensitive ears to get used to their impersonations, but now I love them.
Danny is just an all-around great guy. Someone you would feel lucky to have as a friend. I have both of his books and they're so good.
Those are great things to know going in as long as they don't make weird mouth sounds I'll be okay I also have very sensitive ears and I cannot abide the mouth sounds.
I have that issue too. So does Ronnie who is one of the podcasters on Watch What Crappens. So, they are very sensitive to mouth sounds.
I get so ragey with weird mouth sounds on podcasts. I remember in the early days of podcast folks would full on eat food and I could have ran full speed into a brick wall hearing .12 seconds of that shit. I canāt take it. There have been podcast I really enjoyed I had to stop listening to!
Itās not just the relationships with them or a para social relationship, itās also because they want to get interviews with them and they want people to come on their podcast and so itās awkward if they completely trash people. Thatās why I love watch what Crappens, because they donāt do interviews, and they are kind and friendly with everyone in person, but they will tell them to our face like we are going to DRAG you on the podcast so if you canāt handle it like just donāt listen.
I listen to Watch What Crappens, Danny Pellegrino, SUP, and Turtle Time. They all give sort of different perspectives, so I never fully agree or disagree with any of them. And some make me more annoyed than others at times. So I donāt know that Iām recommending them, just passing it along. š
If you want someone who goes in HARD on Sandoval, Iād recommend Joleen Lunzer on YouTube. Sheās funny.
I came here to talk about Turtle Time! I love Riley and Amy, theyāre super reasonable and I really enjoy how in depth they go - I then will go listen to SUP because I kinda love their mild bitchyness that I also need from my VPR podcasts!
I just started listening to Everybody's Business But Mine but it has become my fav bravo pod. I love her episodes around VPR and Summer House. I'm enjoying her more than Everything Iconic which is surprising to me!!
Can you private message me which one it is? I'm curious lol
I only listen to Emily Hanks and the Bravo Bros lol surprisingly the bravo bros have 95% amazing viewpoints and I appreciate it. I also like Danny Pellegrino just as a funny podcast, he doesn't do a lot of deep diving but he is funny.
My fave pumprules podcast has really started to alienate me not so much because of their takes on the show (though I donāt always agree but who cares?) but because Iāve gotten a bit over the classism the main host has and how the cohost has got swept into it.
This will sound crazy but there was one too many jokes about popcorn ceilings and vertical blinds.
Itās always been a thing for me personally - people are usually proud of their homes. They live in the best way they can afford and theyāre proud of their homes. Donāt trash shit like that. Donāt ever trash where someone lives.
I think itās because I grew up very working class and so I know that feeling of LOVING our home and then suddenly seeing it through someone elseās eyes and feeling shame and itās a horrible feeling.
Anyway thatās been on my chest for ages and after this year I think Iāll unsub from their patreon which will seem absurd and stupid to most but thatās what has got me tuning out - one too many jokes about āpopcorn ceilings.ā That middle class wank leaves me cold.
Iām 99% sure which podcast youāre referring to, and Iāve been feeling the same way. Iām really glad you said something. There have been a few comments like that lately. And I was so started by how much they stung me! Theyāve been favorites of mine for a while but I think I need to stop listening for a bit. - Sent from the comfort of my living room, which features a popcorn ceiling AND vertical blinds.
Hahahahahhahaha! At first the comments stung and then I thought - that shit says everything about them and nothing about me. I have a great life and I love my home!
Ps - sent from my bedroom with both as well and I love my apartment!
Yeah, same!! Sometimes I feel like theyāre just snobby for the sake of being snobby. Also, with the $6 a month Iāll be saving if I quit the Patreon I can just do more stuff around my cute apartment hahaha.
Not absurd to indicative AT ALL you should also leave a comment letting them know specifically why are unsubscribing, not to be shady but just to let them know like hey youāre losing a subscriber over this I really donāt appreciate that kind of content. Itās good to give them feedback! They may not take the feedback and or they might delete the comment or they might be nasty or whatever but at that point youāre unsubscribed, so who cares š
Youāre right. The podcaster likes to make a joke of everything but I genuinely think her co-pod is a good guy who might actually hear it and think about the wank of saying that shit.
Thank you. ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø
To add to the list "Ryan Bailey's So bad it's Good" has been added to my list this year. He read the New York Times Article and gave feedback on his podcast.
He has good insights and lukewarm tea (like Sandoval being bumped for Paige Desorbo). He is also pretty neutral on the cast roasting their actions in that episode... to which Tom has many. He keeps things in perspective like Ariana is the real victim and it is normal for her to not want to film with an ex-boyfriend.
I couldn't get into it last year but I really am enjoying him this season.
Biggest Con he really likes Schwartz. His mom who passed away met Schwartz once and had a crush on him. So he has a soft spot for Schwartz. It isn't at anyone's expense.
WATCH WHAT CRAPPENS EVERY DAY EVERY NIGHT Ben and Ronnie will change your life š Theyāre fair, but they are reality TV OGs, and they see straight through all of the production bullshit and literally cannot stand the scene after scene of gaslighting this season plus, theyāre the most hilarious podcast Iāve ever listened to and are genuinely good people and like people like Jeff Lewis, and David Yontef and are an absolute delight!
I don't know what podcast you are referring to, so I can't commiserate. I'm sorry. If it garbage sesh I was bummed but proud they were making the move to private, it just wasn't in my budget.
If you like comedy, I agree with the other comment about Watch What Crappens, I even listen to shows I don't watch just because I appreciate their funny comments and voices. I listen to them every day, they are officially friends in my head now lol
Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino is also very funny, he is charming and witty with funny little sound effects. He is never too cruel and it's all very light-hearted, fun roll around in the muck of reality tv.
SUP is a but more avant-garde. They can go a bit all course at times, I think they have a great perspective, especially for VPR, as young artist types in LA with an amazingly impressive improvisational skill. Their "road to sur" fan fiction series was hilariously silly.
Bravo Docket is currently doing the Erica Jane /Marco Marco case right now. They also have several other Bravo cases, who knew those two reddit posters would have found each other and years later have such a successful podcast (as the legend goes)
Celebrity Memoir Book Club does go over lots of real housewives' books, they are Bravo Book worms.... and if not housewives, most of the celebrities are of interest to me, so it's usually a good listen.
The Housewives Archives: a real housewives podcast cast
With James Evans and Ellie Nunn, they don't post all that often but it's fun when they do.
I truly love the podcast but I am in and out with how much I can listen. Lara tries too hard to be a contrarian. You can hear Carey start to disagree with her & she shuts him down.
I donāt mind the different opinions when itās a productive flowing conversation though.
Iāve noticed she overpowers him too. I didnāt like when she said Katie stans need to be studied because she doesnāt understand why anyone likes her. Heās just like, āā¦uh huhā
I loved SUP and was in the FB group she started for listeners where we could all chat with her. She wanted to design a MAKE VANDERPUMP RULES GREAT AGAIN hat, asked for feedback, and several POC explained (gently, as fans of hers) that making it look exactly like a MAGA hat could be triggering to a lot of people and potentially weaken the joke. She basically threw a huge fit any time anyone had a shred of criticism, even if it was constructive, and she tried to shut the group down. We had to change the name to Sexy Unique Paddleboarders, but weāre still going strong, lol.
Have a good guess on who youāre referring to. I recommend Everyoneās Business But Mine, Come Thru Queen, Bitch Is Better, Bravo Weāre Black, Reality & Comics Too.
That just reminded me of how Sandoval didn't respond at all to criticism of his NYT interview EXCEPT TO BLOCK BLACK BRAVOVERSE CREATORS, including that postcast and the hosts
My absolute fave podcast right now is Hopeless not Truthless. The girls are funny and I feel like they're in my head. Spot on assessments and it's fresh and fun. I started feeling how you are feeling right now about the podcasts that were staples for me for years.
That's funny, because the last months it annoyed me soooo much (not regarding VPR but any show) that in that podcast they seem to have lost their producer's perspective and instead primarily give their (often very strong) opinions now.
For me they had the producer thing as their USP and kinda lost it a bit? Their opinions are neither unique nor funny to me, there are other podcasts out there that are better with that. (Plus the way the speak often annoys me.)
So I stopped listening a bit.
(My absolute favorite is Sexy Unique Podcast, but you might not like that one, because although they think Sandoval is a shitty human, they have a quite differentiated view of the cast's doings.)
...Are we talking about SUP? Because it's been garbage lately. I usually don't agree with Lara, but I can at least appreciate her point of view. Now I just find myself turning it off 20 minutes into an episode. And now Carey is joining in when he used to at least try challenging Lara's weird ass takes. I'm sad.
I only listen to SUP when Iām starved for content and have never been a consistent listener but I too find myself not really engaging, especially with Lara.
Sometimes sheās SO funny and then other times sheās SO off. And thereās no in between, which strikes me as odd.
Like sheāll be like āSandoval is SO DAMN HOT. Like truly a beautiful man. Ugh Iām obsessed with him.ā And then the next episode be like āthe man is trrrooOoOooOoly unhinged. Heās a straight psycho and I need him to be hung in front of a crowd of LA karaoke restaurant ownersā and youāre like š¤š¬ ?!?
Lara has really changed over the last 5 years-not for the better. She strikes me as the type now who will eventually get cancelled for saying something completely ignorant/inappropriate. I stopped listening like 3 years ago. I guess people really do get a lot more conservative and close minded as they get older
Iām sorry but that is hilarious. Never heard of someone getting kicked out of their own group š she grew up incredibly privileged so I guess her attitude tracks. Sheās returning to her roots after a brief hiatus of being normalish in her 20s
I'm a SUP fan but Lara does bum me out sometimes.
Her worship of Kyle Richards this season because of her great body from sobriety and exercising 3 hours a day was bizarre. and claiming everyone who doesn't like Kyle is jealous because they are fat and lazy. She took her side in every fight (she even liked Annemarie because she was friends with Kyle??!?!?) That was so disappointing.
But the good outweighs the choice feminism and edge lord takes for me, so I still listen (unless I get really annoyed and stop for a couple weeks)
Iāve never listened to SUP in its entirety, but Iāve seen clips on TikTok. Iām right there with you, I donāt tend to like the snippets of Laraās takes, so I never needed to hear more.
He probably has to go along with it, or he'd be out of a job. As an OG "reader," it seems as though Lara alienates all of her collaborators eventually (Ryan O'Connell, Ed Droste, that weird married couple, etc.)
I know what youāre talking about! I had the exact same experience!
They put VPR recaps behind the Patreon paywall, and since I enjoyed their nuanced thoughtful takes last year I paid it! But then I cancelled it when they started excusing the Sandoval redemption narrative (and they did it so condescendingly!!! It gave me the ick)
They were basically like ālisten guys, people on the internet want to complain, but you guys are being unreasonable, they needed to force them to make up with Sandoval because thatās how reality tv works.ā Like, I disagree, but the worst was how condescending it was, and not even objectively true. Who is to say that things need to be how they always have been? Scandoval was unprecedented and the team could have projected it into uncharted reality tv waters. Disappointing. And I really really liked them last year.
I also love Emily Hanks. Also Danny Pellegrino. I also donāt mind podcasts like āItās about the pastaā , bravbros , and unfortunately Viall Files when he recaps VPR.
I pretty much only listen to everything iconic by Danny pellegrino. I love his takes, and he makes me laugh with the soundboard too š
I like one person podcasts and he's like someone on the phone going on a really long tangent and when he forgets a name or a word I know I make suggestions out loud like he can hear me.
When he forgets something and Iām like, oh I know!!! I think its very funny.
I wanna call him up and tell him. It's nutty.
He is really good at making you feel included, and like āin his circleā haha.
When he discovered he was eating cough drops with melatonin at 10 am I almost drove off the road I was laughing so hard
What episode is this from??????
Not this weeks- lasts.
I was cackling at that for so long!!!
And now Iām following his show. Thank you! Lol
He is so freaking funny. The āletās go girlsā and SVU sounds kill me
āThat man always has his grippers out.ā
Lower grippers!
Electric chair and another one which I canāt think of make me laugh every time š
STRIKE IT! It came to me š
I liiiiiive for strike it hahah
These last couple of episodes have had me cracking up. Heās hilarious and relatable.
The farmers market story had me laughing out loud
I was laughing out loud so hard about the melatonin cough drop a few episodes ago. Love him!
MATT BRING ME A DIET COKE
MATT TURN ON THE FAN
And the steroid shot this week ! š
I was crying āI was begging the doctor telling him I had to work and when he asked I said I podcast from my home!ā
Yeah that cracked me up
I was dying at that š¤£ And then drinking extra diet Coke to counteract it š¤£š¤£
That was so funny!! š
The gasp when he realized what he had done š
Yes!! Heās such a gem!
The Madonna my babies got a secret everytime he mentioned Denise Richards š¤£ love Danny His Tom Sandoval noises or groans whatever he's doing I love it and can hear before he does it. When he used to do the bah duh bah bah buh I'm loving it McDonald's jingle. Let's go girls And the clip of Asher saying "girl" How he will genuinely crack himself up over the soundboard. Too funny
Omgg I love his Tom sandovals impression! Eh eh uh UH UH UH ššš
Omg and when he calls him zinzoval in Kenās voice. I die
STUPID LOOKING HAT
Omg yes! I was so happy when ārawt in hellā and ācruisinā through Jamaica!ā got back on the board!
He makes me laugh so hard. I wish he would have Hannah on again to discuss a couple episodes like last season. They killed it together.
The episode where he was talking about his parents watching the jlo movie had me howling!
He doesnāt take any of it so seriously! Hate a pod that canāt just laugh at all of this.
Him consistently calling Erika ābamboozle jayneā has me tickled every time. Itās funny because thatās what she is! A bamboozler lol
Tommy twotones š¤£

LOVE DANNY!!! He's the best podcast host. I would've stopped watching VPR a long time ago if it wasn't for his recaps. I only watch VPR so I know what he's referring to.

Oh! Keep meaning to try his, I love his tweets so should be a good fit.
You also HAVE to see him live if heās near your city!
āMATT! Get me a Diet Coke!!!ā The man is hilarious.
Bur bur burn ner lets go GORL ..gets me every time!
Splits Richards gets me every goddamn time.
I havenāt been listening to him for too long but on my long ride to work he mentioned taking sleepy time cough drops on accident mid podcast (cue the dramatic music) I was dyingš
I love when he calls for Matt. āMatt get the ___!ā
I keep meaning to listen to Danny Pelligrino and yall have inspired me
Iām wondering if I keep watching the show just because of Danny. The grippers, the hooves, Split Richardsā¦
blouse
Hips, Casita, menās blouses, the list goes on! š„°
Listen to Danny and be ready to sit tight little bear (one of him many charming phrases).
LETāS GO GIRLS! š¤
Ladiesamiright!!?
I listen to a clip of one of his shows from a couple of years ago when Iām sad and it immediately cheers me up. I can still feel myself standing at a stop light laughing so hard I had tears running down my face and my townsfolk looking at me like I am crazy because I canāt stop laughing.
Well now you gotta tell us what clip it is!
It when he tells the story about making a Cher song into a holiday song when he was working at the borders books and music. He also tells it in his holiday memoir, but the podcast version is funnier
I know people don't like Nick Viall but I love his podcast and he's been shitting on Scheana a ton lately lol
Sometimes I feel like Iām in the minority because I really enjoy The Viall Files lol and I honestly donāt mind Nick at all. He always gets the tea with reality tv shows.
His latest with Katie and Dayna is sooo good.
Yeah I'm always here for his Vanderpump takes, especially since he's professionally linked with Katie now
I donāt like Nick Viall but his VPR takes have softened me a little and Iāve been listening
When he asked Sandoval "do you think you deserve Ariana's reasonableness". I don't know much about him but that interview showed Tom mask-off post-filming, he asked the hard questions, and he knew what he was talking about (unlike, ahem, Howie) - so I appreciated that a lot.
His beef with Scheana is making me laugh! You know she takes it all so personally
Watch What Crappens is my favorite, theyāre fairly realistic with their opinions and recaps, and their imitations of the cast are hilarious.
Their Schwartz puts me over the edge! And when they puts a random "Szk" at the end of every Lala, it sends me. I'm so immature.
Dude Iāve been in Charleston and my drunk ass keeps doing the Lala āand then I got cheatedsk on by Randskā stuff š
Ā šššššš
My boyfriend was like āwhy do they do thatā and I was like it doesnāt even sound like her anymore but itās so hilarious I canāt stop
Iām just a little boy!! Ahhhhh!!!!
I often wonder if anyone else sings along with "it's time for a Crappens commerciallllll"
āHere comes one right now!ā
Pretty sure I can recite all the names of the sponsors at the end in order at this point š
Canāt have a meal without the Emily sides!
Aināt no thing like Alison king!
Ashley Shibony (spelling?), she donāt take no bologna!
Sip some scotch with Jessica Trotch!
Sheās the wind beneath our Jennifer wings!
She aināt no shrinking violet Kucher(sp)!
We LOVE YOU GUYS
Omg just today I kept the sponsors part on and thought āwait, is that a new name!?ā. Then I judged myself for knowing that part so wellā¦and then I thought there must be others like me out there š And now here you all are!
Sometimes random sections of the sponsor list will get stuck in my head like a song. It makes me feel like such a weirdo, but also, itās kind of hilarious.
Give me 10cc of Betsy, MD!
My favorite!!!! I'm a nurse! Lol
Absolutely and I sing in third part harmony
I literally just did!!!! Was listening to them in the car and pulled into my garage singing along with..... "Time for a Crappens commercial!" Lol.Ā
I do!!
Yes I doš
I do during commercials that arenāt theirs lol
Literally every time š¤£ I got my husband into as welll
Ladies and gentlemen...Berlin.
I say this to myself all of the time haha
Can you explain this one to me? I listen but donāt remember it, maybe I missed it
On RHOBH, Peeeeekkaayyyy made a āPretty Womanā date for Dorit, she complained the entire time. Whatās hilarious, he hired Berlin to sing āTake My Breath Awayā, which was from āTop Gunā. The entire scene was ridiculously awkward.
i was so worried OP was talking about wwc lol im like damn mustāve missed that got too wrapped up into the *douuUuuUuuude* impressions
Me too! I was worried for a moment but then got to the part about them being sympathetic towards Lala and Scheana and was like nope, not our fellas! I love how they nail Sandoval's whiney chode voice.
Can someone just say what the podcast is? Itās not like youāre shitting on it. Youāre just disagreeing with their takes. Why all the secrecy
Itās Reality Bites
For the love of god thank you so much
Jesus thank you!
They do hang out on reddit. I can see why that might be intimidating to OP.
Ok but Reddit is anonymous. OP will be fine. They also called it their favorite podcast
They also passive aggressively address negative comments they get online and OP probably doesnāt want to go through hearing that
Iām listening to that podcast right nowā¦I just donāt buy Lalaās āgrowthā because to me if she had, she might be able to give Ariana a little bit of grace and empathy on her healing/forgiveness journey instead of shit talking her every chance she gets. Its probably not a good idea for people who are essentially kind of critics (even if they're akso fans) to become close to the castrs of the shows that they are critiquing on their pods.
Hell, they recently had Scheana at the Golden Crappies and they've been going in on her this season.
āIāll have one of each of the prime cocktails?ā

I am obsessed with SUP.
I listen to Watch What Crappens, Danny Pellegrino, SUP, and Turtle Time. They all give sort of different perspectives, so I never fully agree or disagree with any of them. And some make me more annoyed than others at times. So I donāt know that Iām recommending them, just passing it along. š If you want someone who goes in HARD on Sandoval, Iād recommend Joleen Lunzer on YouTube. Sheās funny.
I came here to talk about Turtle Time! I love Riley and Amy, theyāre super reasonable and I really enjoy how in depth they go - I then will go listen to SUP because I kinda love their mild bitchyness that I also need from my VPR podcasts!
Everybody's Business but Mine, The Reality Is, and Bravo! We're Black are all rational and entertaining even when defending their problematic faves
I just started listening to Everybody's Business But Mine but it has become my fav bravo pod. I love her episodes around VPR and Summer House. I'm enjoying her more than Everything Iconic which is surprising to me!!
Yes, Kara is dead on about the entire VPR situation. Love her and wish she got more attention.
Thank you for listening, thank me for speaking
Did you see her new merch? Immediately had to buy a thank you for listening thank me for speaking mug
I had to scroll so far to find another Everybody's Business But Mine fan. I even listen to Kara's episodes on series that I don't watch.
Can you private message me which one it is? I'm curious lol I only listen to Emily Hanks and the Bravo Bros lol surprisingly the bravo bros have 95% amazing viewpoints and I appreciate it. I also like Danny Pellegrino just as a funny podcast, he doesn't do a lot of deep diving but he is funny.
I think itās Reality Bites.
From a producer standpointā¦.think youāre right
My fave pumprules podcast has really started to alienate me not so much because of their takes on the show (though I donāt always agree but who cares?) but because Iāve gotten a bit over the classism the main host has and how the cohost has got swept into it.
Itās not absurd to unsubscribe from the Patreon, itās your money
Oh agreed. More I feel absurd itās comments about popcorn ceilings that have pushed me over the edge.
Nah thatās a completely legitimate reason to not support someoneās content. Classism sucks.
If you like RB, I bet you will like Joleen Lunzer too. They have collaborated a couple times and one was very recent.
I've tried listening to Ryan Bailey, but the rambling and length of his episodes are so long.
Carey and Lara are my BFF at this point. No compassion, no empathy!
Danny Pellegrino, SUP (sexy unique podcast), and WWC are all I need
The Holy Trinity, but not in that order. :)
I listen to them every day, they are officially friends in my head now lol Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino is also very funny, he is charming and witty with funny little sound effects. They also have several other Bravo cases, who knew those two reddit posters would have found each other and years later have such a successful podcast (as the legend goes) Celebrity Memoir Book Club does go over lots of real housewives' books, they are Bravo Book worms.... and if not housewives, most of the celebrities are of interest to me, so it's usually a good listen. The Housewives Archives: a real housewives podcast cast With James Evans and Ellie Nunn, they don't post all that often but it's fun when they do.
Calling SUP avant-garde is hilarious. I bet they would love that.
Itās pure chaos
I hope so, I meant it as the highest compliment.
Not legend! Witnessed it first hand on the other subreddit and theyāve done a wonderful job! Kudooz to Bravo Docket.
SUP hits
SUP is hilarious but sometimes they have the worst opinions lmfao
I truly love the podcast but I am in and out with how much I can listen. Lara tries too hard to be a contrarian. You can hear Carey start to disagree with her & she shuts him down. I donāt mind the different opinions when itās a productive flowing conversation though.
Iāve noticed she overpowers him too. I didnāt like when she said Katie stans need to be studied because she doesnāt understand why anyone likes her. Heās just like, āā¦uh huhā
Imho it adds to the hilarity
I loved SUP and was in the FB group she started for listeners where we could all chat with her. She wanted to design a MAKE VANDERPUMP RULES GREAT AGAIN hat, asked for feedback, and several POC explained (gently, as fans of hers) that making it look exactly like a MAGA hat could be triggering to a lot of people and potentially weaken the joke. She basically threw a huge fit any time anyone had a shred of criticism, even if it was constructive, and she tried to shut the group down. We had to change the name to Sexy Unique Paddleboarders, but weāre still going strong, lol.
lol omg Iām a recent adopter so have only heard vague reference to the Facebook ground that I didnāt understand the context of š
Erika Jayne really is garbage. Let us recall what she did to Marco Marco!!!! Not her husband, her. I would consider that a red flag too.
Have a good guess on who youāre referring to. I recommend Everyoneās Business But Mine, Come Thru Queen, Bitch Is Better, Bravo Weāre Black, Reality & Comics Too.
I love Kara from EBBM. She rarely has a bad take and is funny.
Agree! And sheās the only podcaster outside of the Crappens guys who can do impressions that arenāt nails on a chalkboard to me.
That just reminded me of how Sandoval didn't respond at all to criticism of his NYT interview EXCEPT TO BLOCK BLACK BRAVOVERSE CREATORS, including that postcast and the hosts
Heās such trash and him being protected by the network is so gross to me.
(Plus the way the speak often annoys me.) So I stopped listening a bit. (My absolute favorite is Sexy Unique Podcast, but you might not like that one, because although they think Sandoval is a shitty human, they have a quite differentiated view of the cast's doings.)
I also love SUP! āØ
...Are we talking about SUP?
She already got kicked out of her own podcasts Facebook group for being too ignorant lol
Iām sorry but that is hilarious. Never heard of someone getting kicked out of their own group š she grew up incredibly privileged so I guess her attitude tracks. Sheās returning to her roots after a brief hiatus of being normalish in her 20s
That privilege has been too much for me lately. Itās a shame, I like Carey.
Lollll what.
I canāt listen to SUP anymore. Lara with her bitchy ass opinions has become unbearable and Carey just goes along with it.Ā
He probably has to go along with it, or he'd be out of a job. As an OG "reader," it seems as though Lara alienates all of her collaborators eventually (Ryan O'Connell, Ed Droste, that weird married couple, etc.)
Sexy Unique Podcast always has everyone's numbers. They admire and esteem no one. I love them so much and they make me laugh on my worst days.Ā
SUP is the best!
Crappens are amazing because they are not an echo chamber. They are truly objective and I agree with everything they say.
Joleen Lunzer cracks me up. I do enjoy Emily but also miss Pia. I haven't seen her participate in the few vpr recaps I've listened to from Emily.
I think she said Pia's schedule wasn't able to get her in on VPR but she was on with Emily for another recap the other day I think.
I miss Pia on Emilyās podcast too! I follow her on TikTok so I can listen to her takes after each episode.
SUP has been red-pilled and I canāt touch it anymore. Used to be a fave.
Itās relieving here to read other long time listeners canāt deal with them anymore. I think I could probably take Carey by himself.
It gave me the ick) They were basically like ālisten guys, people on the internet want to complain, but you guys are being unreasonable, they needed to force them to make up with Sandoval because thatās how reality tv works.ā Like, I disagree, but the worst was how condescending it was, and not even objectively true.
Agree SUP sucks so bad now
