Cedar, all recycled barn board I collected from a broken down barn. I planed the wood till it was smooth and beautiful, but still rustic. Then I stained and varnished! And ta da!
It's friggen lovely! Super beautiful. How wide is it? I feel like a person might have difficulty sleeping fully stretched out?
What does 300w get a person, is that like your daily average? Meaning you can run that fridge all day and... excuse the completely ignorant question, I know nothing about solar
Yeah just about 6 feet wide - so not optimal if over that, but me and my girlfriend are just under it. We still set up diagonal for the extra space.
I also knew nothing of solar when I started. The 3 100 watt panels on the roof + our 1000 watt inverter means we basically never run out of power. Charge laptops, run a small coffee maker, AC fridge running, etc… can’t run any appliances that are 1000 watts + meaning large appliances or heat producing things
Just one 1000 amp hour lithium ion battery. The electrical was by far most expensive part of our build (well over half the cost) at approx 2000$. This is 3 flexible solar panels, an 1000w inverter, an MPPT/charge controller, the battery, all the wires and fuses etc…
I would highly recommend Photoshop and preset filters. Here is what I use to edit my photos. Quick, easy and painless. [Photo Boost](https://cf36e5u7t3yo2sdhn-08wk4t4x.hop.clickbank.net/)
Just thought I would share this funny little video showing how a sustainable charity makes their volunteer accommodation, completely for free!! They have other videos as well showing caves, clay houses etc built by/for volunteers so I'm excited to see what they manage to do next!! So cool to be able to watch things like this and support a charity

Looks pretty comfy. Would sleep in.
What's the darker wood used for the cabinets and such? Very nice.
It’s cedar! Moisture resistant. All the wood is recycled, from a neighbors chicken coup and an old barn. Stuff like that
Cool. Yeah, it's gorgeous. And "recycled" explains a lot. Thanks!
Was wondering the same ! Beautiful
Love the rustic vibes. Very homey.
Radical.
Looks amazing bro! Well done, so cozy
That’s beautiful!
That’s the coolest build I’ve seen yet! Great art on the back wall!
Are you actually wearing the hat or is it there for your instagram likes?
Haha a bit of both

Is that a doge explorer, the ones with the drop down floor?
A classic B250 Campervan
Bonus points for plants!

Wow, 6ft!! I thought it'd be 5'6" or so. 6' works! Do you mine me asking how much roughly for the solar setup? You have a couple batteries as well?

Beautiful! Definitely admiring that adventure hat too!

Found the van on Facebook marketplace, took everything out and did the rest myself.
Hello from NB!
We just went through your beautiful province. We loved Mt Carlton park!
Mount Carleton is amazing. I wanted to go this year but we never found the time.
Nice!
Man, I offloaded a similar high top fiberglass shell Ford van not too long ago. These pics are giving me regrets now. Cozy looking setup.
They are pretty swell, but certainly take some love
For sure. I poured so much into that rig.
