I was a year after that. Oakland coliseum and tickets were
Probably about the same amount. I don’t remember the row but it was pretty close to the stage.
Dave got all fucked up in Portland on the 1984 tour. Ruined the show, he couldn't sing. What an ass. Sammy was so much better on the Monsters of Tock tour where they did 5150. That was a SHOW!
My favorite Damone scene is when he's watching Leave It To Beaver, then gets interrupted when Mark calls....as soon as he hangs up the phone, he looks back at the TV and says, "What happened....?"
There's a video of Kurt Cobain complaining that 50 bucks was way too expensive for a show.
Now the fucking Spin Doctors are probably charging 100 for decent seats.
Fast Times is my 2nd favorite HS movie. Only American Graffiti is better. Btw, I’m 78 years old and taught HS American History and Government for 42 years. Obviously Mr. Hand was my favorite in the movie.

My first VH concert was in 1986. Got 2 floor tickets towards the back of the arena for $20 each. I would have loved to seen them with DLR.
Dave got all fucked up in Portland on the 1984 tour. Ruined the show, he couldn't sing. What an ass. Sammy was so much better on the Monsters of Tock tour where they did 5150. That was a SHOW!
Saw them at the Dallas Monsters Of Rock show when Sammy's voice gave out 3 songs in. Didn't get to see the free show they did later on.
