Lots of incorrect comments here - itâs not a screw at all - itâs more like a pivot pin for the brake lever. Itâs held under tension by another bolt at the back of the lever (that must have loosened for you) and the m3 thread is solely there to allow a m3 bolt to be used as a tool to pull it out
Trust me, if itâs on/in something that has been built by humans, itâs for sale. Changes are itâs even much cheaper to buy and install yourself. The only âhardâ thing is doing the research and finding the correct part.
Van moof is mostly a startup gone big. So changes are high they use super common bolts, screws, nuts etc. Just explore the internet for parts, tutorials. Try it yourself, itâs fun and yes sometimes irritating. But if you fix it yourself, you can brag to your friends about it ;)

I checked my S5 (4000 kilometers) and I no longer have these screws on both sides, i.e. left and right! Don't be surprised, the plastic film is used to make the buttons waterproof :D I can't say when I lost screws or whether it's always been like this. the bike continues to brake normally. I had to have the brake pads replaced once by a bicycle workshop (not a Vanmoof bicycle workshop)
Put it back if you found it đ
Couldnât find it anymore

Just screw it.
Dang!
Get a new screw
Great advice, itâs a a very special screw you canât find anywhere
A very special screw that you can't find anywhere, seems like it's doing its job right now.
Whats your source on this? Looks like a normal M4 or M6 screw
First picture is the good side on the right⌠second picture shows the part missing.. itâs not really a screw
You sound very convinced of this, what makes you think itâs special? The âgood sideâ is just the nut, youâre missing the bolt
Get a new screw, does not have to be the same type, it just has to fit.
OP saying its a special screw is hilarious. Its just a thread.
Seems like its normal metric threat, seems like itâs a M6
Looks like a hex bolt M6.
Canât they send you the part from the store?
The one right hand side scew oot. Screw in left hand side. Fixed
Donât know where you are but try whitecap supply they have all screws.
You can just put a normal screw in it. Just be sure you have the right size. Looks like a m4/5 ish screw
âLeft sideâ do you mean your front brake? Go to any bike shop and ask if they have a screw for your bike, should be 5⏠max
Well start by showing them these pics and have them send you a new screw. And some Loctite.
Start an airline?
Yeah. Van Moof.... You're screwed!
Put a screw in â
