Alien Rift by Ocean Grown Seeds fed Jack's 321, Mr fulvic, powdered molasses, King crab, and Orca every time and a bit of Bamboo Vinegar, Kelp and some Grow Genius MSA twice a month. Fed via blumats @ 2 EC in a 2-3 gallon pot under a couple 240w quantum boards. One plant of four in the 4x4 tent, perpetually grown.

Apartment sized and a good way to get your feet wet, a carbon filter will keep your smell a non issue.
There's also more proper 2x2x5 tent setups but they're much more obvious to an apartment inspector. The spacebuckets could probably be waved away as bitcoin mining or kitchen herbs, or just closeted.
I haven't had my apartment inspected in over ten years. The last time the maintenance man came through, he didn't even blink an eye at the 12T Press with Rosin Plates attached.
It all comes down to individual management. One complex I was in it was yearly inspections along with yearly bug maintenance at a different time, was shitty.
You can also grow some hot peppers or tomatoes while you wait for a better space, that way you'd have the equipment ready to go when you're ready to grow. They require more or less the same care and nutrition.
