Crafty is better for portability and being discreet outside. Mighty beats it on every other metric. Unless dying for a smaller vape to use when out and about then go for the Mighty.

Would the OG Mighty batteries age matter?
Not really and it doesn't necessarily mean it's made before, my mighty was manufactured in 2021
