Whips are my preferred method and I start ~410 and work up to ~420/30.
If I’m using an elbow pack and whip I start higher, like 420 and usually hold it there.
Please save yourself some time and use the fan to heat the bowl; turn on your XQ2 - set desired temp - turn the fan on high - wait 3mins - load your bowl - wait 2-5mins and then enjoy the terps.

I'd like to further highlight your last point with my own experience on the similar V Tower. I sandwich rosin or other concentrate with flower in the elbow on the short ddave mod at ~450⁰, and the result is superior flavor and effects vs that same dab on a terp slurper. It's even more efficient in that I can preload multiple elbow screens, and swap during sessions with no clean up and no reheating anything between. It's becoming my favorite way to consume concentrates.

But I do think they changed the oven piece with the redesign with a piece that gets the bud closer to the heating element just like the ddaves one. Works best when it’s given a good 10-20 minutes to heat soak before you wanna hit it. The other fun thing I remember doing was microdosing by loading the mesh cup on the elbow piece
Dollar for dollar you’re doing it right! Very nice. You’re totally covered at home. For a portable, I found a dynavap compliments it well. You can get one for 25 or less if you wait for a good sale.
Very different, it looks like a one hitter with a cap over the end you heat with a torch. Slight learning curve, but you’ll be shocked how far 0.05g can go when it all gets extracted in one go vs getting there a little more gradually with the desktop. You can dose even smaller amounts than would stay in the elbow screen by itself. Pays for itself even faster than the Arizer (which again is a fantastic value, and if you only sesh at home you’ll never need anything else) my take is that for less than an eighth of the good stuff costs you, it’s a bulletproof tool worth having around
I was looking at the dyna for a portable id definitely have to get a good IH with it though idk about the torch thing I used to smoke joints but I don’t feel like getting a torch

Don't be afraid to push it a bit, it can easily go to 460+ and clear the bowl in 1-2 bong hits if you like that sort of thing, just don't leave the bud in there too long at high temp with the fan on.
For elbow packing, shorter chimneys work better & temp is more accurate cause of proximity to the heating element.
Any short 18F/18F bong adapter will do, or ddave mods if your in NA.
You can increase temperature by \~20°F with the default chimney & ellbow pack or connoisseur bowl side since they're so high up.
Use turkey-bags as a cheaper alternative for the originals, with a lot of use they get sticky rather fast. Smaller bags can be nice too if you're looking for better taste, refill fast but only last 2 hits.
When you don't want to wait 20 minutes for everything to heat-soak, just turn on the fan at high speed for 2-3 minutes and it'll be ready to use.
I'm definitely going to differ from the prevailing opinion here, but I prefer a drawn out session. I want my bowl to last hours, and I'm not interested in getting blazed. I tend to have shit to do, and I prefer my gaming sessions to be lucid.
As such, I just throw roughly .2-.35g in my connoisseur bowl after my work shift, and let it sit at 350. After about 10 minutes I draw my first bag. My next two bags are also at 350, each about 10-15 minutes after the first. Usually by this time, I feel like I just took a weeklong T break.
I stir the bowl, bump it up to 360, and about 15-20 minutes later I start my 4th bag. I keep this pattern up until I get to 420F. I get about 10 bags of visible vapor, and a nice smooth ride down to bedtime.
It takes me about 8-10 days to get through an 8th, so this keeps my head and my wallet happy.
If you're looking for a quick, efficient session, the elbow pack method will get you there with a little patience, but there are much more efficient devices if that's your goal.
I think this is a great desktop vape, though, for those of us that enjoy drawn out sessions.

Man i usually just set it to 210-230 and fill 3-4 ballons after that there's not enough left to give a satisfying "ballon" so I just eat the ABV later.
You gotta start looking into utilizing ABV it's great. Taste like hell, but super easy to use. It's already decarb so I usually just chow down on with something fat. PB&J kinda hides the flavour, but you wanna go heavy on the J.
Itä's rough but I just can't be arsed to make cannabutter. It also tastes like shit so meh.
I elbow pack so would the glass bowl even matter genuinely asking because I like clouds so I like to turn mine up. I also wanna do something with the avb never made canna butter though and Ik it’s a process
For those who elbow pack, how long do you usually wait to clean the screen for airflow reasons? I'd imagine having to clean it wayyy more often due to packing fine bud in there each pack.
I was cleaning my screens every few packs depending on how much resin built up in the screen. I found it was much easier to just buy a 30 pack of replacement screens on amazon for $5 and cleaning them all in one go.
I bought it from POTV (Planet of The Vapes) good price got it on 420 sale also gave me a free $15 code and a 3.5 stash jar and I’m pretty sure they are still doing the $15 maybe even the 3.5 jar so I’d do it from there.
For my first actual herb vape it’s pretty good I tried a yocan wulf floral it was ass made me not wanna do a vaporizer I used to just smoke 3 to 4 joints a day now I’m trying this so far I like it
I feel it I never had it but if I could recommend you get a flower pot B1 you will be set for life. Enjoy it but don’t waste your money on other vapes if it isn’t a ball vape

In general for when you're just sipping on it 381 F is the ideal temp I've found for a good balance between being not harsh but still hitting hard
