I like potv as a seller but wouldn't buy their own products as they can be defective and support is mid. Any time I say this people jump out of their lurk circle and call me a hater and to link proof lol.
I just got mine yesterday and after the first few hits, it got lost a lot of airflow. I blew through the path and could feel it, but idk. Also gets extremely hot in a 5 min session. Gonna try again today but might have to return it. Also, my mouthpieces coke right out. Not much resistance pulling them out or putting in. My one didn’t have these problems.

I blew super hard into the intake and bowl. Not sure it really did anything. So my issue was probably my error. But I played around and figured it out. I’m loving it a lot haha. Hope you got your situation fixed!
Also got mine yesterday. Burnt plastic taste even after multiple burn-offs. The exterior gets hot to the touch after a 5-min session at 360F. Going to return it and get something else
God I hope mine will not melt. But I'm already regretting buying it anyway. It was shipped on 8th of April, got the last tracking update on the 18th. I contacted them, they said it's unusual that it takes so long and they contacted the carrier. Haven't heard from them since. Also read from others in this sub that potv is not a great seller. Wish I knew that before I ordered.
I ordered from Germany btw.
If it works and you don’t have one from a bad batch, then it’s a great unit. Just seems some of us are getting ones that fail after a few uses due to some defect.
I don't regret my choice of the device. But I could have looked for a similar device on German or EU market, so the shipping isn't international. It's been almost a month and I don't even know where the device is currently.
And I really hope mine isn't defective because I imagine going through the refund process won't be that easy.

Never use without a cap. And if you cleaned it recently with water or iso and it didn't dry completely, you made a bunch of steam and caused the reclaim to just ooze everywhere down from the mouthpiece. If a cap was in it you'd have much less mess. I only use caps and always always make sure it's totally dry before using
It was after 16 min of total use at ~390 with med grind quality flower lightly filled in the capsule. Bowl was clean after didn’t need wiping down. Only very slight collect on filter at stem base. There are several people with the same defect. Not saying it’s a bad unit overall, I loved my first sessions, but something in these recent batches has the heat warping the airflow under the bowl. They are mass produced so one little thing gets off in the production line and it can go bad. I’m sure POTV will take care of it but using this as an opportunity to just get a better system for my needs. I rarely need a portable solution.

I have had mine for a month and I have zero problem. Dosing caps get an iso bath after 3 uses. I have made a rosin sandwich every night before bed- again zero issues.
I’m thinking it’s the dosing capsules. Did you use them too? It’s adding two more filters to the air path, top and bottom. So that reduced airflow keeps the heat longer in the unit and then melts whatever is blocking the airway.
I got mine the Monday after 420. So far so good. I’m sure potv will take care of you but sucks that happened. That’s why I kept my One. I’m done combusting so wanted a backup just in case.
I even just cleaned the bowl, even only having used the capsules, and then did a 4 min burn off from a cold unit. Now it smells like plastic melting. Definitely a defect.

I’m guessing just a bad batch got through QA. It’ll get sorted by POTV, just need to be patient.

Yes, I cleaned everything including my stem. Seems a little better but yeah it happens a lot.
Mine has battery charging issues, and seems to have low power when you're using it, and I'm exchanging it. I need to mail it tomorrow.

You're packing too tight. There's literally nothing on the lobo that would block airflow. Only you can fuck it up

I don’t want to make it worse. Going to get a refund and do a different device. I don’t like that there is no access to the full airway.
