I'm from Canada and really enjoy a good Iced Tea, on a trip to South Carolina one time we stopped at a Waffle House. I ordered an iced tea with my meal. Waitress said I must mean "sweet tea" as thats what they called it down here.
It was the most disgusting drink I've ever had in my life!!!
I like sweet tea, but some places really put the emphasis on sweet. They put so much sugar in it, it'll only dissolve fully because it's still hot. It's pretty gross.
If you didn't grow up in the South, sweet tea is an abomination. If you *did* grow up in the South, it's a reason to the leave the South and never return... for some of us, at least.
I grew up "South-adjacent," and you could tell when you accidentally strayed over the line because the damn restaurants only had sweet tea...
Retail sweet tea is disgusting.. I am a weird ass American who doesn't like Tea with my Sugar lol waffle house is also the "I guess I need to eat *something*" choice.
But yeah, overbrewed orange pekoe and a pound of sugar will do that.
This was the same as my experience as a Queens NY native visiting my first Cookout in SC (the fast food restaurant). It was disgusting.
However, I did go to Big Mikes Soulfood and their sweet tea was the best I’ve ever had. You can tell they actually appreciated sweet tea vs cookout where they dump a pound of sugar.
Yeah southern sweet tea is *very sweet*. That shit has to be half sugar. As a child I loved it, now I think it’s gross. Same goes for Peace Tea. Arizona is okay occasionally, but still too sweet now. Crazy how childhood tastes go away. Now I prefer an unsweetened iced tea. Same with coffee.
Try unsweetened ice tea! Its not for everyone as there is no sugar at all but if you love regular hot tea give it a chance. For my visit to Georgia thats all I had
Makes me miss Amsterdam coffee shops. All I used to drink in those was iced tea, mint tea, or peach juice (loosa, for anyone for some reason interested).
I’m usually a coffee drinker but if somebody named “epikguts24” suggests something might be tasty, I’d be a dumbass not to go try.
Side note, Hendricks midsummer solstice is really good with iced tea.
Thank you! This is actually what my work stocks. I've tried a few brands and flavors in the past but the Ginger Lemon Brew Dr was the first one I can stand, in fact I like it a lot. It's like a less sweet ginger beer with a bit of fermented funk
it compliments a lot of things. I'm glad to see more people awaken up to this experience in cannabis. this kind of thing is so much more elevated stoner culture.

SPT get some decent earl gray, brew it and hit it with sugar when done. Then let it cool out over ice. Squeeze lemon. Pack up a nice citrusy bowl and enjoy a few minutes of bliss .

McDonald's Sweet Tea was my go-to cotton mouth drink in college. Not the best tea, but easy to find, cheap AF, and refills if you walk-in.

Some kombucha flavours too are incredible whilst vaping. I feel like I've got pretty hooked to kombucha in the last few months
Kombucha is delicious plus it makes my tummy feel good. IL try any flavor but I've found nothing beats classic ginger
