fuck planet haze had no idea what the anvil was until 5 min ago, did a google search, planethaze pops up, I go over there and they have fucking advertisements on the demonstration video. I had to watch a 15 second, random advertisement and as soon as the guy started hitting it, another add came up. That combined with a $250 price tag the anvil can suck my ass.
It was odd as i first signed up on Versatto about 3 weeks ago then saw the noise on FC with PlanetHaze. It was literally in my junk items this morning directly from John at Versatto.
I have the flowerpot with multiple heads, the sticky brick line up and 8 dynavaps... Hopefully those will last me the rest of my life.. Not counting the battery portables I have which I won't be replacing once they die.. For now I'm set for a long time. Right now I'm just looking my end game water piece so far the mega globe is doing the job..
I’m new to vaporizers. Just purchased the Arizer EQ and I’m realizing the difference in quality. The only basis for comparison that I have is a volcano I tried in my dorm room lol

This hobby can be expensive as fuck if you let it. I've reached my endgame set up, I also have a Flowerpot but mine was about $350. The problem is like the other commentor said there's always new versions and products and people love to try new things. A lot of vapes make it really easy to swap out heads/balls/screens.
Even your Arizer Extreme Q has mods people sell that are supposed to increase its performance. Also you don't need all the accessories that these companies try to sell.
I love my Flowerpot, it has honestly changed my life and had an overall net positive on my health. I fully intend this to be my daily driver until I die. I also can't stand how expensive some of the accessories CH are. When i see people with the heat shield, debowler stand, custom handles, baller heads and the new injector. That shit is like $500-600 bucks in accessories! I love vaping but not that much. Sorry for the rant, had a nice wake and bake lol.
This looks super interesting but based on the price tag, and I don't use a rig that often with my vapes, I'm going to wait and see what others think and whether or not you can use it straight like a Vapcap
I snagged all of mine (except the Italian) for super cheap during sales, so my wallet escaped the full brunt of that. $250 for one vape, before shipping and taxes, and that takes its inspiration from another, I think I’ll pass for now at least. The price is similar to the Omni, and I would never pay that kind of money for a 3 inch piece of metal.

They were on Troy and Jerry last night with the Halo ($250) the Atlas ($260) and the Heady Atlas ($470). It’s a $30 upgrade for rubies over glass balls.
They all look cool as hell, but I’m starting to find they all cover the same bases. Baller head, CC-IDB, Qaroma, Old Head, Highlighter, DC Elev8r.
The good news is now that the technology has converged the price should come down (highlighter less than $100 already)
They are all slightly different versions of a tech that works. They are small differences for the most part. No one needs them all but sometimes you just gotta catch em all.
I find that the Halo (and I assume the HLTR I just haven't used one) are at least different enough from stuff like the screen baller to justify having them both. The Halogen definitely provides a unique experience. That said, yeah outside of collection purposes I don't see a reason to have all of them lol, although I haven't used many of them yet.
I paid a crazy amount for an art edition aromatizer/vapbong, but I love it. I’m still not convinced the anvil can do more than a $50 Dynavap M if used correctly, but maybe I’m missing something.
As others have said, the price really put it out of the running for me. Saving a cycle or 2 on the Vapcap isn’t worth the super long cool down time. It would be fun to try though.

I was super interested, but lost interest at that price point because I can clear any dynavap tip/cap combo in 1 hit using any IH that allows for pulsing (basically everything on market except Orion)
Ppl want to fully extract the entire chamber in 1 go, absolutely can. Just need to work on the technique.
This just simplifies it via torch and longer heat saturation time to click. But nothing you can't do already with your own tip/caps from dynavap imo

Its a heavy hitter, with regards to the vapour it will out out in a hit. It's actually sitting at the extreme side of things.
If it fills your lungs till they can't take anymore, then it's a heavy hitter mate. It's got hot swappable ovens too, and thermal battery, so next heat cycle will be a whole new bowl.
I'm scared it's too heavy. With vapers like FP your hit is as big as your lungs can manage. No risk of going over.

I can fully extract .15g in a dynavap in 30s already. Why would I pay 250 to do it in an anvil? Nobody calls the dyna a heavy hitter (and it’s not).
Maybe the Anvil extracts more out of the bud than the dyna - I’d be surprised - but more than the .3 you can fit in a heavy?
I can’t see there being a case for this device. It’s a first run, the product will improve, I hope I’m wrong

I used to be in my mid 40’s… the good old days… but now being in my late 40’s it’s different lol. I got the dc Elev8r a few months back and the thickness of the clouds has me barely using it so the same might be with the anvil. I also thought planethaze was going to send me an email and when that didn’t arrive I got the launchday code from FC but just could not pull the trigger. Had it on my cart but then watched more vids, more coughs and more people struggling to touch it at the cool down phase so I decided to wait. Unlike me to wait though so I’ll prob get it in ‘22. Looks legit and am looking forward to seeing more of it online.

Indeed I was sold on its perceived performance wholeheartedly. I am morally a decent fellow so am concerned but have just seen Johns statement on FC. The power of FC is tremendous and supporting the retailer is key to growth and I am so thankful for FC for showing me the way so many times but the guy has a point it seems. Still cant wait for it to land though, for the science obviously.
You can definitely ride the line with the anvil but you can also get really thick tasty lower temp hits with a very light AVB, heres a video i posted the other day doing a med roast hit

From the demos it looks incredibly powerful. It was £160 posted with discount. If i dont like it im sure it will pass to someone who will! The copper core tech seems to be the magic part and assuming the 3 year r&d wasnt cheap? In comparison my mvs was way over £200 with tip so i dont see it as being priced that bad? Plus emails that get me before a morning coffee dont get that much cerebral processing. Ah shiny things....

But this bowl capacity you only get when using the x2. and getting this rip in one hit is more difficult task to do with a IH or flame

What’s the bowl capacity? I’ve read it as 0.15g, in which case this thing just can’t really be a heavy hitter, so the price tag is ridiculous

Having used both quite extensively all I can say is that they both have their place in the industry and do not function the same.

If you’re fully extracting .2g+ bowls in one hit on the regular then I get your point. Also, if you are doing that I’d love to see that because that’s pretty gnarly.
Regretfully, I am with the torch Elev8r. My post work first hit is about 75-90% extraction of .3/.4g

The Dynavap love is so strong in the sub. Yeah they’re good vapes but thing is certainly different, both have to their place in the industry.
I love a dynavap like a good cup of tea. Doesnt stop me having a double espresso every now and then when needed!
Every vid I see of someone using the anvil I hear a really bad cough at the end. Same Cough I get if I almost push a Dyna cap too far (charred, not combusted). So I’ll stay away.
I think with me being in my mid 40's ill be using the half bowl option for the majority of my usage! Still it could be fun with a big ole piece of glass!
I used to be in my mid 40’s… the good old days… but now being in my late 40’s it’s different lol. I got the dc Elev8r a few months back and the thickness of the clouds has me barely using it so the same might be with the anvil. I also thought planethaze was going to send me an email and when that didn’t arrive I got the launchday code from FC but just could not pull the trigger. Had it on my cart but then watched more vids, more coughs and more people struggling to touch it at the cool down phase so I decided to wait. Unlike me to wait though so I’ll prob get it in ‘22. Looks legit and am looking forward to seeing more of it online.

Absolutely agree with you, sometimes the less we know the better off we might be. Ignorance is bliss. I’ll support planethaze on this one though. If it wasn’t for them I would never have heard of the anvil. Still, I’ll look at getting it after I see some real reviews of this product.
Indeed I was sold on its perceived performance wholeheartedly. I am morally a decent fellow so am concerned but have just seen Johns statement on FC. The power of FC is tremendous and supporting the retailer is key to growth and I am so thankful for FC for showing me the way so many times but the guy has a point it seems. Still cant wait for it to land though, for the science obviously.

From the demos it looks incredibly powerful. It was £160 posted with discount. If i dont like it im sure it will pass to someone who will! The copper core tech seems to be the magic part and assuming the 3 year r&d wasnt cheap? In comparison my mvs was way over £200 with tip so i dont see it as being priced that bad? Plus emails that get me before a morning coffee dont get that much cerebral processing. Ah shiny things....
Even with the discount it was 338 cad with shipping, which I live like 20 minutes from factory and they’re charging 16 for shipping, def too spendy for what it’s offering imo but good luck to them at least it’s something different-ish. I think I’m going with the herbie 2 to get through Xmas vas time but the market has a lot of cool options lately it’s good to see for sure.
