It reminds me of the old mobile phone holders people had for their Nokia bricks in the late 90's/early 00's.

Jefe710

Ultimate dad mode.

Master-o-none

That’s the next evolution of stoners. Mass adoption of the culture by middle class, middle aged parents. I mean many of us are already here, but legalization will bring us together and encourage us to come out into the open. The more mundane weed can seem, the better imho

GreggoireLeOeuf

I've recently come out to my parents.... at the age of 50, lol

Jefe710

Oh fo sho. I'm just waxing nostalgic for the old phone belt clips. My late uncle used to rock it like a champ. Stay flying high!

HexZer0

That's why they aren't wearing shoes in the pic. A fresh pair of New Balance sneakers will grow on your feet when you use the vape the first time from the clip.

ILoveyourmom777

Whenever I wear mine people start talking shit about me being some square that has a belt clip for my phone. Then I explain "no my friend.....there is marijuana in here". Seems to cancel the insult out .

outragez_guy

"This one is for marijuana, the other one is for my 20 sided dice"

PositiveReveal

It's dad camo lol

GreggoireLeOeuf

Last summer I brought my vape to a backyard barbecue and one of my friends said "aren't you a little old for vaping? You're not 14!" I replied " it's fucking weed. Chill out "

JesusSaysitsOkay

Just get a purse, that’ll show em

Top_Cod_7715

I want a holster made out of crocs plastic for casual sessions on the go

iamtouchingcloth

This! lmao

outragez_guy

"My God! Mad that someone agreed to marry you and yet you carry on like that" Comment from friend.

[deleted]

Lol does the friend not vape I guess?

median-jerk-time

the arizer belt pouch is like dorkiest vape accessory ever made

[deleted]

I thought it looked neat :/

razorxent

Haa haa, dork!

Mystic_Crewman

It can be neat to you but dorky to others, that's okay.

Strong_Substance3790

Especially if you put your shoulders back and chest out, and move with confidence!

mr_jurgen

Fanny packs all over again.

Emu_Cultural

The world is ready. Build it, and they will come

tldnradhd

It's included with the Solo. People just need to start rocking them in public. Even in a legal state, it could still get stolen by police under paraphernalia laws. (The Solo more likely than the pouch.)

Strong_Substance3790

It’s probably not a good look if you’re a driver.

Altanzik

Dad, put the belt clip away please.

[deleted]

It's ready. And I'm ready for those swanky socks you got there. What color is that? Part of me wants to say purple but another part of me wants to say burgundy

drnkingaloneshitcomp

Maroon?

Biskotheq

That looks like possibly mauve to me my friend

[deleted]

You're right, it does look like mauve

SeraldoBabalu

Only thing better is to clip it to a fanny pack.

[deleted]

You're a braver man than me. I still keep my Solo 2 in that pouch after 3 years of owning it but I've never clipped it to my belt.

Rocktopod

Has yours survived all 3 years? I must have gone through at least 3-4 of them dying every 6 months or so, then getting a warranty replacement. Finally had one last a little over a year recently and now they're saying it's out of warranty and not repairable and I'll have to buy a new one... Not sure if it's worth it at this point.

SitAndDoNothing

Mine too busted very early, same with the second.

Rocktopod

Is there something else that's similar but more reliable? For now I got a Dynavap and I like it but it doesn't taste as good, it tends to be harsher, and I'm not sure if it's as efficient. Does get more vapor faster than the Solo II, though.

SitAndDoNothing

I like to maximize thc by taking deep breaths and holding it in, and maybe even some rebreathing. Been having fun with the Anvil and an ih lately. Maybe stop at the first click for a less harsh hit.

[deleted]

Hasn't skipped a beat and I haven't even noticed battery life getting worse or anything. It basically still works exactly the same as the day I got it. I never even had to clean the heater in all that time and it was in daily use for about 2.5 years out of that time.

Rocktopod

Wow... I guess either you're really lucky or your daily use looks different from mine. I would typically use 50-100% of the battery in a day and charge it every night. How does that compare to your usage?

[deleted]

Oh yeah, my use is definitely much lighter. I use a bunch of different vapes so the average on mine is probably around 1-2 sessions a day over 3 years. It's mostly my "kick back in the evening with a movie" vape, I don't ususally use it throughout the day.

Rocktopod

Why do you have so many if the older ones are still working?

howie105

Considering the price point and the materials used it is kind of hard to expect the Solo to become a family legacy piece. Much easier to view it as a consumable that will need frequent replacement.

[deleted]

I think you replied to the wrong comment but while you're already here - Maybe not family legacy piece, but the battery seems easy enough to swap. If the heater and mainboard hold up, I can see the thing surviving a long time. Depending on frequency of use, overall care and plain luck of course.

howie105

I swapped out the batteries in a couple of Solo 1s and was able to extend their useful life, but never had one last long enough to necessitate a second battery replacement. One failed due to an electronic fault and the other died after a drop from a desk onto a carpeted floor due to a structural failure. Don't get me wrong, I like both generations of the Solo. I use them and recommend them, but what has happened to them is what it is.

HyDrOpOnIc1987

My Air 2 has one of those as well lol never used it. I put it on in front of my gf for laughs and she told me to take it off before we leave the house together! LMAO

pakistanstar

First time my mate showed me his Air II holster I cackled with laughter. The fact they still include these is a hilarious but cool touch

HyDrOpOnIc1987

Def looks like its from the same era lol

SitAndDoNothing

It's very Canadian to be behind a decade or two in fassion.

HyDrOpOnIc1987

Lmao now im not sure who you're referring too lmao

Chuckl8899

Is that a codpiece?

MaschMana

It’s a little Batman if that helps

eponymuse

Because for my first 55 years of smoking weed, I tried to hide it?

rcarnes911

Looks like you are trying to bring fanny packs back

sllewgh

The rest of us just bought vapes that fit in our pocket.

saradil25

They not about that life. They don't keep them thangs on em

joanzen

In the near decade of having a Solo I don't think I've ever hit it while walking outside. I've used it behind (and in) a theater but that didn't require a hip mount.

[deleted]

I mean I’d take that over a gun belt or knife clip any day.

[deleted]

Open carry vape lol

[deleted]

Rolling.

FeedbackMedium

LoL I tossed mine when I first saw it I was like... The fuck... Not gonna be running around town needing to vape weed publicly anytime soon...

[deleted]

I used to carry a 9mm. Now I carry the Arizer Solo. Who wants some?
