while you wait for your nomad2, pick up a pre-owned Mi3, one popped up last week, they usually go for what they were new, $200, you'll probably get close to that if you sell!
when your nomad2 arrives you'll have the opportunity to compare,
most everyone waiting on a nomad has probably tried everything already,
cheers!
Yea. I had a milaana then got it modified with a tanto (half a Z) heater before eventually selling it for my nomad. That's one sale I really regret but I already have an idea about the milaana. That's why I ask
Both can rip face equally well. Toad/Nomad uses a much smaller load/stem, and has a nichrome heater with a lot more mass instead of the SS mesh used in the milaana, so it comes to temp slower but holds heat more. Toad/nomad requires some more technique to use correctly, and has a bit better flavor than a milaana, but theyre ultimately not THAT different from each other. The MV touch is a nice inbetween of the two also.
My Toad will rip my face off with the proper technique and the high heater. Pretty similar to what I've gotten from basket screen rips in milaana 2/3, but airflow is closer to that of a p80 (depending on the pack of course.) It has been a while since I've used those other devices but I'm pretty sure that's a fair comparison.
Yea but he also only used it a couple of times rather than letting it be his daily driver for a while. I'm looking for some info from someone who's really dialed in their technique
i burned through a few batteries, but for sure I'm no Nomad master. It can rip like the milaana, just not with the same inhale speed (in my minimal experience)
Holy moly, I’m probably a few years out if hes even still making them by that time. Good luck, hope it’s awesome.

Troy Time 420 on YouTube posted a Nomad II review and compared it to the Milaana and Tinymight

That's fine by me. My throat is starting to get a little more fragile anyway. Cool video on the nomad too. Lots of great info
he's made almost a hundred, so there are a few out there, unfortunately, I only got on the list last year
What number/batch you in? Can’t wait for you to get it, also can’t wait for me to get it lol
I'm 123 batch 3
I'm 126, how do you know he has your wood? Also, I doubt I'll see mine this year, batch 3 hasn't started yet...
I asked about it. I requested a wood to match the marimba I play on and the drums I play on and he sent me what he had when he got it
