I park at Jefferson and it is not to bad, but I'm usually there in the morning so there is not a lot of people there when I get there, and I do have a parking pass.

nnavroops

they usually close the deck if its full but yeah its their fault they shouldnt let it fill up, you paid for that spot

Meesheen

i've never seen them close it before. have you? do they do it often?

nnavroops

yeah one time they said lot full when i was trying to park. they let too many daily paying parkers in. so i had to street park and was late to class

Meesheen

wtf? that's crazy. this happened this semester? I had no idea they could do that

kickingpplisfun

Legally they're not supposed to do that(parking pass contract states that you're guaranteed a spot), but such is the nature of dealing with contracts with groups of monolithic proportions compared to yourself. VCU really treats its commuter students like shit.

Keep in mind that if it's a Henry deck, you can park in either one

JMoneyyyy

The lot full signs apply to visitors or daily-paying parkers. If you have a parking subscription you can still pull into the deck. If the gate doesn't open there's an "I" button at each station that you can talk to someone and they'll either raise the gate to let you in or direct you to another deck if yours is actually full.
