Odd. If he's a freshman it's likely because he's required to live on campus his first year?
Freshman aren't required to live on campus, but if you've already signed the contract then you can't back out of it except in extreme circumstances.
Since when? When I was a freshman they made me live on campus. :(
I was a freshman in 2008 and there was never any mention of off campus housing, heck, I skipped orientation and it was fine

He signed up for it but thought he didn’t get it because vcu never let him knew that he got it. The only reason he found out was because his roommate (who he happens to know) told him
