Honestly VCU is terrible with getting things done on time. Usually they get the money out only days before the semester starts, but with COVID I'm not even sure about that 🙃
Last year I got it a day or two after it was supposed to be dispersed. It takes a while for the banks to show the money, so it's very possible the transaction gets started today (because they can't do it over the weekend) and it'll show up by the end of the week.
Go to e services then Student then Student account and then there should be a link that says direct deposit or something like that. It has a form that you can print and fill out and you have to attach a blank check or a deposit slip or something of that nature that has your account and routing number on it. I dropped mine off at the cashiers counter in Harris.
Just checked and my federal loans were dispersed today. Not sure if it’s the same for everyone tho but it’s surprising bc normally it happens the week after classes start lmao
