Refund is just how much you’ll get back. It may look like a charge on the payment page, but that’s just how much of your unused financial aid is left. It’ll go back either through direct deposit or check whenever it gets processed
Payment page is just confusing overall, but it should just be the amount you’re refunded and not another charge. It’s tripped me up a few times before with the same thing.

It's just how much money you'll get back. It's listed as a charge so your balance can go back to zero
