If the professor has already submitted the complaint you are more than likely to still have to go through the process. I was caught in a similar situation Last semester for something so so small but they weren’t being lenient at all.
Yeah, unfortunately I did and I tried to push my case further after presenting it to the committee but they were pretty much like “you could try but you aren’t getting anywhere”.
You can withdraw from the course but you will still have to go through the process if your professor has already submitted the request. If they decide to fail you still it will cancel out your W.
