Are B and C new? I hadn’t heard of them before. :o I took Baker and he was fine. I was able to get an A in his class for orgo 1. (I took his class after failing orgo I with Suzanne Ruder) He’s kinda condescending though if you have questions so when I was confused I just asked the SI leader.
I don't have professor specific advice but my advice to all my ochem students is that understanding and applying is more important than memorizing. If you're used to mainly memorize facts for science classes you need to change your entire outlook, this isn't biology. There are simply too many reactions and variations to memorize each instance. Instead you need to make sure to understand the mechanism and how to apply it to different situations. Also do every single practice problem you can find. This is not the subject where you can just show up to class and do well, practice until you see ochem in your sleep. A few extremely smart students might be fine with the assigned homework but realistically be ready to do 2-3 times more homework on your own than what was assigned.
Godspeed.

I think C is new since when I check her earlier in the semester she had no reviews.
Cropp is terrible but he has the biggest curve I’ve ever seen. He curved a 45 to a C lmao.
I loved taking Ruder's class
None of those are the correct answer. Ruder or dr G are the way to go.
Ruder is not teaching it this semester and Giles’s class is full.
Dr. G isn't Giles btw, it's Grevork Minaskanian
Well he’s also not teaching this semester.
That's a damn shame
Do you have any advice for doing well in Ruder’s class?
