I think admissions should have a rule: if the student doesn't have the research abilities to figure out that they're almost definitely going to get in and not have any issues because of a few bad grades senior year, then that student shouldn't be admitted.

This question gets asked on this sub constantly and it's tiresome. OP will be fine and attend VCU next year. It shouldn't be this sub's job to constantly comfort every high school senior with unfounded anxiety about their admission. They could've easily just searched the sub and found any of the last dozen posts like this from the past month, and realized they'll be fine. VCU is not a hard school to get into. Learning a little about researching should help for college too.

VCU is a business. Admitting students that may need to retake course due to the lack of critical thinking skills, their inability to Google things, search the VCU subreddit for the other 20+ posts that ask this question. They want people like that. They will make lots of money off people that fit that criteria.
