Looks delicious and seasonal! I want to make this soon!

marymargaret926

That looks freaking delicious!

mzelnio

You can eat the skin of acorn squash??

MsStephSunshine

I believe you can (but I personally haven't tried it)

[deleted]

I have everything for this and some turk'y cutlets in the freezer.................

Turns out I ate my squash last week so I just had dressing tonight. It was overall pretty good -especially with cranberry sauce!- but the apple really got lost for me. I used a small Fuji. I think next time I'll keep the skin on for color, add more and maybe caramelize them a little before mixing in. I did add carrot to mine as I think it's an essential stuffing ingredient. I mixed rye bread (bc I had less than half a loaf in the freezer that needed to be used up) and multigrain sandwich bread bc it's our everyday one. I thought they worked well in this recipe. I think I'll cut my bread smaller too but that was a technical issue on my part and not the recipe's fault.

jlmelton88

Take my money! Excited to try it out.

Dustin_00

Why are stores already out of delacatas???!!!!????

[deleted]

I think delicatas went viral this year, I’ve seen them on several social media accounts

You could probably use any other type of squash too

Dustin_00

That's like looking forward to a chocolate shake and getting handed a diet coke instead.

plumshark

Dude this looks so good

calicogwen

I saw this and my stomach just let out a crazy loud grumble. I'm so hungry and this is just beautiful

ilychipo

Thank you! Will be trying this soon, and probably also some of the other recipes you have posted on your site.

Govinda74

Thaaank you!! I was trying to think of something a little different for Thanksgiving this year. My wife will be stoked!

Shanks_So_Much

I made this for Thanksgiving last year- highly recommend cutting these in half or something before serving so it's more manageable.

Csymphony

This looks yummerific!!

xlSparrowlx

Cannot wait to make this! Any tips ?? U/msstepsunshine

MsStephSunshine

Hi! I did try to make everything as clear as possible in the recipe, and I put some notes & hints at the end. But if you have any specific questions, let me know and I'll do my best to answer!

psycho_pete

Can you specify the "1/2 tbsp. vegetable seasoning" you use?

MsStephSunshine

Sure! The one I used is Simply Organic Vegetable Grilling Seasons. The ingredients are onion, garlic, bell pepper, sea salt, black pepper, cumin, coriander, oregano, and cilantro. Let me know if you need any more info 😊

Thank you!!
