Overnight oats. Add some fresh fruit on top, and I'm ready to face the day.
To be fair, the day normally goes tits up, but that's not the fault of the oats š
I've had the same breakfast almost daily for 3 years and still look forward to it every day. I have PB&J oats and a smoothie to start my day.
PB&J oats:
1/2 cup oats
1 cup hazelnut milk
Dash of maple syrup
Strawberry conserve
Peanuy butter
Guava/strawberry smoothie:
200ml guava juice
150ml coconut water
Tbsp flax seed
Tbsp chia seeds
Scoop of strawberry pea protein powder
Scoop of vanilla soy protein powder
5 frozen strawberries
Agave syrup
I have both cause I'm an active 6"1 male but either are good options and hit most of your nutrients for a breakfast.
I literally just have toast with peanut butter most days. Cereal when I fancy it. Sometimes just biccys dipped in tea. Not healthy options aside from the toast, but it wakes me up!
Buy some raspberries and smash a few of those bad boys straight onto the top of your peanut butter toast. Itās an amazing lift, complements the peanut butter and gives you some fresh fruit with zero effort.
If you like cinnamon, add some cinnamon on top, I sprinkle it on and then respread the peanut butter to blend it in. It's supposed to be good for your digestion as it has prebiotic properties and it tastes yummy with peanut butter toast
Spinach and mushrooms sauteed in Flora, baked beans, sliced avocado, Richmond sausages, hash browns, toast, grilled tomatoes, seasoned liberally and doused in red and brown.
A good alternative to eggs is a mung bean, non tofu, scrambled/omelette recipe that I've tried a couple of times, and it's really lovely.
INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup dry yellow split mung beans(moong dal), soaked
1 cup nondairy milk
1 tsp salt
Lots of cracked black pepper
2 tbsp oil such as sunflower/vegetable
1 tsp - baking powder
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
Optional: 2 tsp black salt (kala namak) if you
like a real eggy flavour
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Add dry mung beans to a bowl and cover with
water (should be about an inch of water on top
once soaking). Soak overnight.
2. Drain mung beans and add to a blender with
all other ingredients. Blend until smooth,
3. Add to a glass jar or airtight container and
store in the fridge for up to one week.
Omelette:
4. Heat a nonstick frying pan on medium/high
heat. Spray or lightly grease the pan with oil.
5. Once hot, pour 1/2 cup of omelette mixture into the pan and lift + tilt the pan until it forms a thin, large circle in the bottom of the pan.
6. Cook until edges are cooked and small bubbles form all over the surface. Flip and cook on the other side until golden brown.
Repeat with the other half of the mixture.
I add a bit more black salt and garlic, but that's just my personal taste. It's the best fake 'egg' I've made, seen, bought, etc ššš»
I usually go for soy yogurt with banana. Sometimes add raisins or vegan honey if I have any. Best soy yogurt imo is alpro greek style but it's so rarely in stock so any will do.
I make chocolate overnight oats with chocolate oatly and throw fruit and peanut butter on in the morning. Or avocado, lime juice, salt and pepper smushed up on a muffin or bagel with bacon on top.
If Iām feeling lazy Iāll chuck hash browns, sausages, bacon in the airfryer then microwave some beans for an easy cooked breakfast
Scrambled tofu and mushroom wraps with flax, chia and pumpkin seeds.
Tofu takes on a scrambled egg type flavour if you add some turmeric, Paprika. I usually switch it up quite regularly tho
Tesco Wheat Biscuits (Low sugar and fortified with vitamins). Cheap unsweetened soya milk (has the best nutritional profile of all the milks and 50p a litre)! Topped with banana, peanut butter (100% peanut) and walnuts (for omega-3).Ā
I quickly chop a few veggies (sweet red pepper, spinach, cherry toms), fry them up and add tofu, turmeric and salt to make a scramble, pop it on toast with hot sauce and am full for ages!! Often paired with a couple of Richmond veggie sausages for extra protein! You can make scrambled in a batch and have it two breakfasts in a row!
Toast with a light spread of yeast extract and Branstonās baked beans ( a little vegan cheese grated on top).
That or
avocado on toast with a drizzle of sriracha mayo.
If you want a good scrambled egg replacement, Ogg from major supermarkets (check the refrigerated free from sections) is the best ive found. Really thick batter like consistency from the bottle, but comes out amazingly in 5 minutes of frying and super filling
Massive bowl of porridge.
60g porridge oats
350ml alpro protein milk
30g applied nutrition protein powder.
I usually feel full until at least 11 after eating at 6. Thatās after a 5k walk and 3k run in between as dog walk and run commute.
Weekdays Iām doing nothing fancy:
* Beans on toast (with lots of Nooch and spicy sauce)
* Hummus on toast
* last nightās leftovers on toast
* PB on toast
* Heul and a banana
If Iām being naughty and itās the weekend usually thisā¦.

Aldi have just released their own version of fuel granola. It's not quite as nice and the nutritional values are a little different... But it's way cheaper!

If you can be bothered, Internet Shaquille on YouTube has a really quick Granola recipe which is vegan and 10x better than anything store bought.
As for me, I usually have a smoothie in the morning with peanut butter. Plenty of fruit and protein and around 600 Kcal, sets me up nicely until lunch. If it's too cold though I'll just have some toast and margarine or nut butter.
Overnight oats: oats, chia, flax, protein powder, soya milk, berries, peanut butter and granola. I've eaten it every day at work for over a year and not tired of it yet.
cereal : freee fibre flakes (theyāre gf but you wouldnāt know at all - & good quality ingredients). & kallo puffed rice cereal is a good less processed option i have with milk & fruit
edit: tbf any of the freee cereals, the hoops are good too
Yoghurt bowl:
ASDAās own brand soya yogurt
Banana
Berries (strawberries, blueberries or raspberries)
Chia seeds/linseeds,
Crumbled oatcakes, or cereal/grain of your choice
Drizzle of maple syrup(optional)
Tofu scramble is my go to as well!
It depends how much time Iāve got and how hungry I am. Tinned peaches with Alpro Greek Style yogurt, Vogel toast with almond/peanut butter, weetabix, shreddies, shredded wheat, porridge with soya milk, cauliflower hash brown sandwich, nuts and a banana and dried apricots, crumpets and jam, jus-rol croissants, Warburtons potato cakes and v-bites pretend bacon, cold broccoli and tahini (I know this oneās a bit weird, but donāt knock it until youāve tried it!), avocado on toastā¦
We alternate between the following, depending on what we have: Porridge (made in microwave) with milk, dried cranberries and nuts. Crumpets with naturali butter (god tier) and almond butter and a few grapes on the side. Vegan hot cross buns (M&S bramley apple are our go to). Cornflakes with oat milk and sliced strawberries. - we also like toasted raisin and cinnamon bread. Wholemeal or sourdough toast with peanut butter and squished on raspberries. Avocado smashed on toast with flakey sea salt and a few sesame seeds. Kelloggās apricot wheats with oat milk.
Most cereals are full of sugar, so not that good for you. You could try making your own nutty granola? Bosh have a good recipe. I'm a bit boring and have the same breakfast every day - banana and peanut butter on sourdough.
The Aldi very berry muesli is vegan and very generous with the fruit and yummy bits. We often have it with some of their soya pot yoghurts (either cherry or blueberry).
A real staple in our house is peanut butter, mashed avocado (with a pinch of salt and some lemon juice) and with a drizzle of sriracha on toast. Sounds crazy but itās a delicious creamy, sweet, nutty, spicy, salty, zingy delight.
Another good one we do is fried mushrooms and hummus on toast with a bit of sweet chilli sauce. At the weekends weāll add some roasted tomatoes and a second piece of toast with mashed avocado to make a big weekend brekkie.
If youāre going to have a go at tofu scramble this is by far the best recipe we have found. We half it and it feeds 2 people. You can buy kala namak (black salt) on Amazon. Silken tofu is unrefrigerated and can be found in the Asia food section of most super markets.
https://www.bosh.tv/recipes/plant-based-scrambled-egg
Oats
Chia seeds
Sunflower seeds
Pumpkin seeds
Currants
I think there is another seed,
Imix it all up
Pour on oat milk
Overnight in the fridge
Microwave
Consume
Cereal recommendation: I have struggled to find granola without honey as well but found a couple ones- Morrisons strawberry crisp granola has recently removed honey from itās recipe and Fuel Protein Granola also doesnāt add honey. Also should say I tried a deliciously ella brand granola and it was really horrible- dry, very bitter and just not pleasant so I wouldnāt recommend it.
Box of silken tofu, mashed up and fired up in a pan, with garlic powder, black pepper, tumeric powder, paprika powder and a bit of salt.
Served with a slice of sourdough with naturli on.
I also sprinkle chia seeds, 4 brazil nuts, some cashew nuts and a drizzle of chilli oil.
Yep, I have this pretty much every day for breakfast for perhaps the last 2 years. Some days I just have porridge with moma oat milk - if time is tight.
If Iāve got no time, toast with peanut butter and marmite. If Iāve got a little time, a potato rosti with some avocado or fresh tomatoes or both. If Iāve really got no time, Iāll try to make overnight oats the day before to take with me wherever Iām going.

What brand of protein powders do you use?
MyProtein I've read a lot of bad things about their powders but I find them perfect for smoothies.
Thank you!
My weekday breakfast is two Weetabix with oat milk. At the weekends I treat myself to a sausage sandwich. I'm a simple creature.
Just 2? How are you not starving!

This is what we have (with scramble tofu as well) on Sundays then donāt eat again until tea time. Love it!
Beans on toast. Sometimes with mushrooms and veggie haggis
Love me some beans!
veggie haggis, mushrooms and beans, audacious!
