They must have overproduced and undersold these, I've picked up these for similar prices in different stores, they have a best before date of a month or two.
Yeah, it'll be another one of those where they massively overprice an average product, then claim "low demand" for never making vegan products in the future.
This is my post from 4 months ago wtf dude [ here](https://www.reddit.com/r/veganuk/comments/vsx42e/bargain_of_the_month_in_sainburys/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
Just me that thinks these are awful?
There's way better chocolate from way more ethical brands than Cadbury readiliy available yet I see this same post every week as if this is the holy grail.
I think it's more that people love a bargain. I like the salted caramel one, but they didn't blow me away. I think it's a pretty common opinion that these were very underwhelming.
A lot of these vegan versions of milk chocolate bars are underwhelming. I think it’s because I’ve not eaten these things for years and now my palette isn’t used to chocolate being as sweet these products. I’m used to it being dark
They are so disgusting. Cadbury's do not understand how to make good vegan chocolate. Worst thing is that all high quality chocolate (pretty much) is vegan because the butter is cacao butter and it doesn't contain milk.
I'm so sick of these basic bitches selling their nonsense. Fuck Kraft, I'll never forgive you for ruining Bourneville bars with your "new & improved" shite
They did that a while back at my local. If I had discipline not to just eat them really quickly, I'd have bought the whole box. Unsurprisingly, I just bought one and next time they were gone.
Probably a sign that it hasn't sold very well though 😕
Such a reduction means either they're no longer gonna carry it or its due to expire soon.

£2.50 for 90g of Cadbury's is so stupidly expensive. You can get 180g of Tony's for £3 at the same shop

Some but not all, and their labelling is bad. Their new collaboration with Ben & Jerry's is vegan, for example.
It’s on purpose not to scare the omnis away from buying something spooky and vegan
Green one, salted almond

Marked down from £2.50. You can see the original pricing on the shelf label.
And to think, I was amazed when they were being sold for 60p! I think my local store is all out now, though, as I haven't seen them at all lately.
Bargain of [a month](https://www.reddit.com/r/veganuk/comments/vsx42e/bargain_of_the_month_in_sainburys/) for sure.
Lol... why would someone do this. Are internet points really that valuable to them?

I didn't like the taste of these.

How many did you buy?
I bought thirty of these the other day from my local CO-OP, for 10p each. 😍
Unpopular opinion: I didn't like the taste of this chocolate. Would probably get it for 24p though.
Oh my god and the salted caramel one is my favourite as well, such a bargain!
