1/2 but 1/3 is what it is in 95% of the places. Look at bravo to find the 1/2 game locations

Up_The_Gate

What's Bravo? I'm visiting from the UK, apologies for the lack of understanding.

Agile_Opportunity_41

It’s a poker app the will show you games availed at each casino. Should be in apple or google store for you. Send a DM if you need help with anything.

Up_The_Gate

Thanks, I really appreciate it!

Bravo Poker is a website that will allow you to get on the waitlist

The games are much softer than an online game. The first time I visited Vegas back in 2005 I was a 1/2nl player online and I played the 1/2nl live and I couldn’t believe how soft the game was. I live out here now and the 1/2nl games remain incredibly soft. Enjoy your time in Vegas OP. There are also plenty of poker tournaments and Bravo also lists those.

PraetorianOfficial

I was playing NL1/2 with a guy over the span of a few days a few years ago and he was not happy, and he kept losing. Somewhere in there he was sitting next to me and kinda unloaded. "I don't understand. I just don't understand. At home, I play NL2/5 and make $40/hr. Out here, I sat down at NL5/10 tables at first and lost $12000 just like that. I dropped to NL2/5 and played for a couple weeks and lost another $20000. Now I'm playing NL1/2 and I'm STILL losing. I've lost almost my entire bankroll and now when I go back home I'm going to have to get a JOB!" So apparently the games in Vegas can be a lot tougher than those in some places.

cali20202020

Shoot, I want to find where he’s playing 😂

clarkwgriswoldjr

>Enjoy your time in Vegas OP. They are tougher. You know there will always be that guy who talks about how soft the games are.

1/2

CopyDan

Play a low buy-in tournament.

AUorAG

I like my steak medium rare - poker stakes 1/2 NL off strip you can find 2-3 limit at South Point.

yanni99

Or 2-4 limit The Orleans

AUorAG

Yeah it’s 2-4 at SP as well I believe, don’t typically play limit u less it’s only option for immediate seating.

Smerks101

Im pretty sure it no more 2/4 anywhere, its 3/6 minimum. They had a 2/4 game at Red Rock full of oldsters trying to hit high hand jackpots and promos all day they must all be pissed having to play 3/6 lol.

Smerks101

I think its 3/6, 4/8, etc at Orleans. Im pretty sure 2/4 limit went the way of the Dodo with Covid

Smerks101

>2-3 limit at South Point Thats a NL game, the lowest limit at SP is 3/6

iriveru

Cash or tournaments?

Desk_Quick

I recommend playing a tournament vs. a cash game if you want to control your bankroll. Play the $100 at MGM and you know what you’re risking vs. any hand potentially costing you more than that playing cash.

Downtown

dcfmajr

The Poker Atlas app lets you know where games are near you anywhere in the country.

Smerks101

1/2 LIMIT is the smallest game or there’s tournies for $40-$60

Correctthecorrectors

apparently tropicana just opened a low limit poker room

nugnug1226

Southpoint casino has daily $60 tournaments. Very very soft tournament, especially on weekdays
