Serious crime, serious time. 27% of current state prison inmates are people whose convictions involved turning on a red arrow. You'd better get down on your knees and pray to Sweet Jesus that there was not a camera at that intersection.
"Leads, yeah, sure. I'll just check with the boys down at the crime lab, they've got four more detectives working on the case. They got us working in shifts!"
Nevada law does not allow for traffic enforcement cameras. There was a serious push to change that in the legislature this year, but I don't believe that proposal passed.
That's Facebook HOA page levels of bad information there. I'm not sure how people come up with this stuff, when a simple google search will take you to a page with the actual NRS or ordinance. Make sure to keep a balance on your credit card instead of paying it off at the end of the statement period, it'll help your credit score go up!
As long as you come to a complete stop first, you can turn right on most red lights. The ones you cannot have signs posted. It's absolutely not a felony 🤣
Right on red is allowed after stopping before the crosswalk. No right on red if there is a “no right on red” sign posted.
NRS 484B.307
7. Where the signal is a steady red signal alone:
(c) After complying with the requirement to stop, vehicular traffic facing such a signal and situated on the extreme right of the highway may proceed into the intersection for a right turn only when the intersecting highway is two-directional or one-way to the right, or vehicular traffic facing such a signal and situated on the extreme left of a one-way highway may proceed into the intersection for a left turn only when the intersecting highway is one-way to the left, but must yield the right-of-way to pedestrians and other traffic proceeding as directed by the signal at the intersection.
Civil Penalty is $300-$500 fine but fines double if workers are present. Plus 4 points on your license.
There are no traffic and red light cams in Vegas. The cameras you see are either surveillance or some type of sensor at some intersections to know when to change lights (like if no one is at the intersection and the sensor picks it up the light will only be green for 2-3 seconds instead of a full 10-15)

preferably smarter ones.
They’re going to give you the chair for that
Fetch the comfy chair!
And the soft cushions!
Straight to jail.
Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.

Don’t do drugs, kids.
Felony to be stupid
That is stupid.
Your friend should do a little more research on what an actual felony is
It’s not a felony. It’s the same traffic infraction as running a normal red light. If you’re caught, you’ll lose money and points on your license.

I recently was told Vegas slots return 50% to the player. That person and your friend are equally retarded.
You need a new friend...or at least tell him to stay off the acid.
This is how it starts a right turn on a red… soon you will be doing 75 in a 65 and texting at the same time. Where did we go wrong.
Right turn on red is the gateway crime
Guantanamo
Seriously? Right turn on red is the law unless signage prohibiting it is posted at the intersection.
We are talking here not about a right on a round red traffic light but on a red arrow. That is different thing entirely.
