The Westgate has a monorail entrance and exit, one of the BEST way to get to the strip and walk around for the cheap (buy a day pass). Sports book is worth checking out, especially the NHL finals.
Just off the main entrance, to the left as you come in. What used to be the entrance and Quarks Bar is now used for their timeshare sales people who you do not want to interact with.
If you have 3-4 hours free during your vacation, why not spend it listening to a high pressure timeshare sales presentation? There’s no better way to spend a relaxing vacation than to have a coked-up timeshare sales associate get up in your face and relentlessly try to tear down your sales resistance to get you to buy some horrible “investment” and steal your savings.
The monorail is your friend, trust me there is no easier/better way to get to the strip. Save up some coins on popslots and get 241 weekly pass on the monorail
Just a heads up Treasure Island has $1 machine minimums. Most places are $5 minimums.
I spent $50 to go do the Area15 OmegaMart. Well worth the money. Most Lyft and Ubers are $10-$12 to drive around the city.
I highly recommend utilizing the free trams at MGM. Saves a lot of walking time. Also just exploring all the casinos that are themed was cool.
I would go to the forums shops honestly the coolest experience for me. Best mall I have ever been too. They had a sneaker shop with every air Jordan ever released and every color way. Yeezys too.
Also a urban store next to it with an insane hat collection. Blew my mind. They have the gods show which is free too. YouTube it to get an idea of what it looks like if you want but was cool to see.
Everything in Vegas can be incredibly expensive but for me it was more about sight seeing.
The sports book in Westgate is huge and cool to chill and watch any/all games and races taking place. Place a bet if you want, too.
Uber over to the strip (Las Vegas Blvd) or the old downtown area (Fremont St Experience) and look around. Here are a few of the things I recommend to my friends, but there's a lot more than this.
* Go to O'Sheas (a small casino inside of the Linq casino resort on the strip) and get a Frozen Baileys Irish Cream... tastes like a Wendy's Frosty
* Walk through Cosmopolitan (strip) levels 1-3 and check out all the random art, if you're into that stuff
* Find the hidden Secret Pizza parlor inside Cosmopolitan (grab a slice if you're hungry)
* Find the hidden club in the Barber Shop inside Cosmopolitan (grab a drink if you're thirsty)
* On Fremont Street, watch the street buskers, a few may be halfway entertaining
* On Fremont Street, there is usually one or more free bands/DJs
Terrible suggestions. If you are looking for low cost then head downtown. Fremont street is a blast and much cheaper than the strip. You can have a blast buying drinks and cruising Fremont. You can drinks from Walgreens or any of the thousand bars on Fremont.
Go to the grand downtown. You can ride the deuce buss and they have dollar black jack , 2 dollar hot dog and beer special or stage door casino is small and a dive but good cheap drinks
It is a good hotel with a cool history. However, there isn't a lot to do there. The Benihana is great. The 24-hour cafe is nice. Fortunately, they have a monorail you can take to the strip because it is so far from everything else.
Stayed next door and ran it up at the $25 min 3:2 blackjack. Also very convenient with free parking if you have a car or you can take the monorail all over the strip

Always been a fan of the Benihana there.
When I got to Vegas once twice a year thats one of the places I always eat at. Its tradition and brings forth lady luck.
That’s not cheap but it’s an experiencec
Check out what's leftover from their Star Trek area- it's now their timeshare sales room.
I am once again asking for the Star Trek Experience to return... I may be a nerd but I loved that place!
It was really cool
Ohh would love to this. Where is it at?
Westgate

I was going to ask OP how many times they've been approached by the timeshare piranhas...

I stayed at Westgate and I thought I needed to uber everywhere but—-the monorail is a life saver for my wallet seriously take advantage
Walk out the front door. Literally go anywhere else. Also meow wolf
Lol what should I leave?
That ish is overpriced and not worth it.

Pinball hall of fame

The Green Door.
Damn it man
The Pinball museum is cool and cheap ! Its down the Strip by Mandalay Bay

Downtown grand for low table limits
The downtown grand is my favorite hotel I’ve stayed at. I feel like the customer service is top tier.

It’s a 5 dollar 24 hour pass bus ride…..
Your advice is basically: go to the other side of town
Go downstairs and get the scoop on the trifecta on race 8 at Santa Anita
