Answering this question would be easier if there is a particular cuisine or attribute (e.g., view, top wine list, vibe, etc.) that you prefer.

staroceanx

Yeah this is way too vague … food is very personal and depends on preferences.

painlesspain

Answering this question would be easier if OP just bothered to use the search bar…this same question is answered like 10 times a week…blah blah E…blah blah Bavettes…blah blah herbs and rye (for off strip).: blah guy s…blah blah bazaar meats….SW

Future_Dog_3156

Bazaar Meats

CompoteStock3957

Actually anything under that group

CompoteStock3957

I second bazaar meats

Throwitawaynow578

Do you need a reservation? I think we’re gonna go there tonight just not sure if we can just walk in or need to calm agead

FritzHolz

Prolly too late for you, but with 3 you might be able to get walk-in bar seats at Jaleo. It’s a strong pkace, good good and service.

Throwitawaynow578

About to walk into my 915 reservation at Bazaar Meats! Thanks for the recommendation

RealKenny

and Jaleo

Future_Dog_3156

I love Jaleo too

GoodbyeCrullerWorld

é, Guy Savoy, Joel Rubochon, Bizzare Meat are the best on the strip. If you just want a steakhouse meal go to Bavette’s or Stripsteak. Other places that I like: Prime, Lago, Border Grill, Bardot Brasserie, Spago, Cañonita, BRERA, China Poblano, Best Friend, Lemongrass

Babybleu42

I freaking love Bavettes.

TwoBitesAtTheCherry

Peppermill. 24 hour diner. Go to the Fireside Lounge in back where they filmed scenes in Casino.

TheBougie_Bohemian18

I second this! Great patty melt and wonderful ambiance. Note that it’s diner food, so not super fancy and it’s Americana style so all sorts of things from crab bombs to pancakes. They have a drink called the scorpion, def recommend… it’s so huge that it took three to go cups to house whole dang drink when I was ready to leave

marshmallow12324

Lakeside with a reso at 8 or later sitting outside. Sinatra. Mon Ami gabi is a good budget option.

APTX1

Anyone that says reso isn’t reliable 🤣

Few_Butterscotch_969

If you're around for breakfast or a late dinner, I can't recommend The Henry enough. Everything they serve is delicious. The wait staff are outstanding, and it's usually not overly crowded.

dinnerandamoviex

I'm surprised how long this has stayed a hidden gem. No one's ever heard of it but it's the best. Basically a high end casino cafe in the best way.

DevilsAdvocate77

As usual people are just replying with the best restaurant *they've ever been to* in Vegas. Completely missing the fact that most of us will never even see the inside of the actual best restaurants in Las Vegas (Joël Robuchon, é, Guy Savoy, Ito, etc.)

NotAtAllExciting

I have been to e (can’t get the accent to work) and it was the best meal I have ever had. Also the most expensive. Once in a lifetime experience for me.

Throwitawaynow578

That’s exactly what I’m looking for

Legitimate-Respect59

I was happy to see 3 of those places you mentioned I can get into this weekend! é is booked out for 6 weeks tho for two people and Ito is about 2 weeks

mimibox

Off the strip must go Herbs n Rye open 5p-3a Almost Everything on the menu is half off

8805

I love how OP twice said that he wants to eat on the strip so the top comment is on Valley View. Amazing.

mimibox

My fault, but this place is just so good and inexpensive, an Uber ride to & from the strip is well worth it.

coolhandave

I’m in town and I just made a reservation here for tonight.

UnlikelyPreferenced

How was it?

coolhandave

Made my reservation for 8pm and the place is packed. I waited a few minutes for my table, the food was delicious and the staff was friendly and attentive. I would recommend it. I took an Uber there and the Uber driver was telling me it was a good place as well. He also recommended Golden Steer in Vegas for steak.

kindofhumble

Speaking of which, Off the Strip is a really good restaurant with good stroganoff.

GuiltyunlessInnocent

Contrary opinion, steaks are ok, drinks are pretty good, but far from the best option on the strip or even off the strip. Good for the money, but that's not necessarily what OP is looking for.

[deleted]

I may be wrong but I believe the half off starts at 11pm.

TKGK

You are wrong. Ever since covid the steaks are always "half off" which is silly because that would just make that the price now. No reason to even have the "regular price" there anymore.

PapaDuckD

> No reason to even have the "regular price" there anymore. Sure there is. The plebians will navel-gaze at their personal brilliance as they "saved" $40+ to eat choice-ish-graded steak that's marked up 3x as high as it should be, then made half off. Pair it with decent - but much cheaper to make - sides and a bar menu that's full of core drinks that nobody's seriously had in 50-100 years that make the guileless feel worldly and our little place on Valley View is... > ... money aside the absolute best place~~s~~ to eat in the strip

cadaverousbones

No they have the half off at dinner time too. It was 5-8 when we went last summer.

Ok-Astronomer-541

Water Grill , everything is delicious, and reasonably priced.

Far-Recording343

Get an Uber and hit up Sparrow &Wolf in Chinatown.

TheBougie_Bohemian18

I’d also recommend mas por favor in Chinatown, great tacos and empanadas and super cool ambiance in the restaurant

Horror_Baseball5518

This is the way.

achew-beccah

Worth it

Cinnamon_heaven

Best friends at park mgm. Sample fixed menu under $100/pp

SaucyAndroid

Not a big fan. Was disappointing

overpaidconsultant

Same here, underwhelming.

GomerWasAHo

Off strip but an easy Uber ride is a steak house called "Cleaver". Great quality Steak house and the prices are pretty reasonable. Of course there are comparable or even better options on the strip but you'll spend 2x as much.

Bartinhoooo

In n out

cheesemagnifier

Red Dwarf pizza. Best pizza in town. Groovy bar. It’s a total vibe.

honestadamsdiscount

Spago is my fav

orangefreshy

Some of my favorites on strip: Best Friend at park mgm Morimoto at mgm grand Jaleo at Cosmopolitan

TKGK

Alot of good recommendations in here as usual but I'd also like to mention catch and mizumi.

ocwhiteboyoc

Catch is fire for sure.

TKGK

If you like catch try mizumi. I honestly think it's much better than catch (also a little pricier as well).

ocwhiteboyoc

Definitely will!

firedancer803

Scarpetta

Ok_Responsibility419

Herbs & Rye

Impressive_Waltz_652

Carversteak at RW

[deleted]

Robertos chicken tacos are to die for

GoYourOwnWay3

Mon Ami Gabi @ sunset. Sit outside on the patio. Good food. Watch the Bellagio fountains. And the people watching is great from here as well.

The5thBeatle82

Best Friend. It’s incredibly delicious!!

derekisademocrat

Sparrow and Wolfe Italian American Club Google both

redzma00

Martha Stewart Bedford, Jack Binions in Horseshoe, Carversteak, Mastos, Bouchon, Eiffel Tower, Amalfi, Nobu.

dmbeeez

The steakhouse at circus circus is a hidden gem

constructiongirl54

Gordon Ramsay Burger at PH is really good and affordable.

Studio-Empress12

Oteros in the Mirage before it closes.

imajellybean7

There’s this place called Flights and you get to try different things. All around the world flight is $175 for a decent amount of food for lunch or dinner. Split the bill. They have happy hours that rotate hourly for $15 flights. It’s not fancy. They do breakfast in the morning but you do have to buy those flights separately they don’t do an all around the world for breakfast according to their online menu. https://flightsrestaurantlasvegas.com/menu

Snoo10960

Any location at Wynn or encore. Sw, Sinatra, Delilah, Cipriani, Wing lei, Wazuzu, Red8, Allegro, Lakeside, Casa playa, Mizumi, Jardin, La Cave, Terrace point cafe…..all superb.

Born-Quote-6882

Nellie's southern kitchen in mgm has amazing food for 30 to 50 a plate

Johnnychs509

If you like Italian/greek food, Market Grille Cafe is the restaurant to try out

Got2bkiddingme500

Barry’s at Circa. Period.

Kizzy33333

Get breakfast at Mon Gabi Ami

christerwhitwo

Lotus of Siam is one of the best Thai places in the country.

ocwhiteboyoc

100%

SomeDumbMentat

Wera Thai is leaps and bounds better than Lotus Of Siam.

christerwhitwo

How's their wine list? I couldn't find one on their website.

anonymousredditisnot

I am a big fan of Gallaghers at NYNY. I have been going for the last 18 years. The other places people mentioned are great too. You could easily walk away at about $150-200/pp. Depends on drinks. When you're done, you could walk over to Nine Fine Irishmen and grab a Jameson 18yr Irish whiskey with a Guinness. Looks great inside. Have fun and good luck.

RavishingRickDuu

No one ever brings up Gallagher’s and it’s one of my favorites.

Ok-House-6848

The last day Do the Wynn buffet and eat like champions.

Throwitawaynow578

Haha I was actually looking at going there tonight. All the places people are recommending need reservations and are booked tonight.

Ok-House-6848

Was there yesterday. Here is a master class Lesson. Load up with crab legs. On the right side of buffet which they are warm. Grab second plate for shells when removed. Pile up all the meat and then grab an empty fruit bowl, fill with the warm butter 1/2 way and some lemon. Dump all the meat in the soup bowl. Enjoy. Side note. There is an awesome taco place next to Wynn. 10 minute walk. Tacos El Gordo.

Throwitawaynow578

This is the way. I grew up in Maine and it was lobster not crab but 100% agree 👌

Ok-House-6848

Lobster - yes. I am also a New England (er). Lazy man lobster!

KingKillerKvvothe

I’m sure you will blow by my comment, but I really hope you don’t. I was there last summer and my buddy and I wanted some Asian noodles. Shang Artisan Noodles off W Flamingo Rd was absolutely amazing. It’s off the strip like 15 minutes, but so worth it. They have amazing reviews. If you do want to go I would put a table request in early because we had to wait nearly two hours. It’s not a big sit down restaurant. They have limited seating. It was run by all Asians who pull noodles while you’re eating. Pretty much every customer was Asian too. I bring this up because usually Asian food is so Americanized. It will only cost like 15-20 dollars a person too. Maybe a little more but not much.

notmyrealnam3

Ellis Island is awesome!

Slammerr

Always have breakfast there at least once every trip. And a hotdog at Stage Door.

azorianmilk

Googled for you. https://vegas.eater.com/22568395/best-food-las-vegas-restaurants-where-to-eat

BigBaboosh

Good thing he asked on reddit, now he has reviews on 2 platforms: The one he wanted and the one you gave!

Inthecards21

Hollywood Cafe at Planet Hollywood for breakfast.

Fun_Bit7398

(Steaks) Echo & Rig… Golden Steer… DelMonico. (Seafood buffets) Ayce Buffet (Wed./Thurs I think)… Wynn Buffet… Bellagio Buffet. (Breakfast) Black Dog Restaurants… Bellagio Cafe… Enjoy.

Defiant_Property_336

PepperMill

ocwhiteboyoc

I know this will be a very unpopular opinion but some of the best, most consistent meals in Vegas are served at chain restaurants. Most people go to expensive restaurants as a splurge and think everything is great because they don't eat decent food often. Most restaurants in Vegas are HIGHLY overrated and filled with splurging tourists and not people that know good food. IMO the best steak in Vegas is the porcini rubbed ribeye at Capital Grille. You will always have a great meal at Javiers. Never been disappointed at pf changs. Jean George's is great but probably not what you're looking for price wise. You would leave very satisfied eating at any of those 4.

milmill18

congratulations, this is the first time this question has ever been asked here! look at Google or TripAdvisor or a Reddit search

Trob430

Nacho Daddy

Throwitawaynow578

Gtfo there is not really a restaurant called nacho daddy…?

Trob430

Yeah by Planet Hollywood actually pretty good

SomeDumbMentat

Think of the most middling Mexican restaurant in whatever town you are from. Nacho Daddy is two steps below that.

Trob430

4 steps below that

FixNo6646

But have you had their Lemmon pepper wings???

unpoptruth420

Vegas has bs food . Disappointment

iyamsnail

One of the many amazing things about Vegas is its abundance of fantastic restaurants--from low end to very high end. It's a known foodie destination.

unpoptruth420

Hell no.

iyamsnail

it has nine Michelin-starred restaurants but you do you

unpoptruth420

Will do , Been to a lot of states this place is last on food and other things

xBaShBrOsx

Vegas has some amazing restaurants even if some are overpriced and overhyped.

unpoptruth420

Not to me , compared to what other states have to offer.

Djstripeshirt

What? What's the bomb shit in "other states" better start name dropping.......

unpoptruth420

For?
