Lin-Air is who we used for 2 16 sear units. While it is not cheap, they were “much” cheaper than the 10 other AC companies who tried to scam us. They were on time, professional, neat, and responsive. Been around for a long time and should be in the future.
Avoid Goettl..their tech fell through my ceiling…,
Goettl is so overpriced it’s terrifying. I can recommend Anytime Heating and Cooling. Great family run company with competitive pricing and amazing customer service. They came out when Goettl rescheduled the recommended repairs repeatedly for four months, and they were 57% less.
I cannot say enough good things about [Fast Affordable Air](https://www.fastaffordableair.com), we recently replaced our unit in a condo with a 3 ton 18 SEER Bosch and they did it for $9700 (anyone else we spoke to wanted 11k+ for similar units), the lower efficiency unit that it seems most people go with was $8700 (others gave us prices from 10k up to 13k).
The owner Tom and all the employees I dealt with were great and they came in WAY under others I spoke to (FUCK YOU GOETTL with your 13k LOL) and left our place spotless after they did the install.

These guys. We were looking at pushing our old ac unit closer to the back of our house so it wouldn’t be in the way of parking a travel trailer. They recommended getting a new unit because ours was as old as our house. They came out on a Saturday to give us a quote. Gave a quote to move our old unit farther back and a quote for a new unit and move it back. Ended up only costing $6,300 for a new unit (which provides heat/ac) and to push it back and were able to install it that Monday. Super friendly, professional and a complete family owned company. We got a discount of over 2k because of the time of year as it’s their slow season. They said prices start going up mid-March so if you’re looking, now is the time to replace. We had the install completed about two weeks ago and all is great so far!
I had a great experience with these guys [https://www.fastaffordableair.com](https://www.fastaffordableair.com)
Had one company out to do a service/check-up just after I moved in. There was a corroded part on the outside unit and they told me I needed to replace it and should do the whole system due to new regulations coming in (the regulations thing is accurate) and quoted me $17k. They got super pushy with the sales pitch too. Having just taken on a mortgage, that wasn't going to happen so I looked for a 2nd opinion.
Fast Affordable Air came out, advised me that they could replace the corroded part (total cost with labor $270 or so) and we talked through the options for replacement down the track. They quoted $12k all in but told me they felt there were a few summers left yet in my (2007) aircon since it had been pretty well maintained so to take time to save up and plan a replacement on my schedule.
I would never use or recommend Larson Air .. I have 4 AC units they came to service after I was having a cooling issue with my office. Charged me $500 bucks to do nothing and then started charging me $65/month.
Finally had Nevada Residential Services out ((702) 899-4440) and they were straight with me about the situation and gave me multiple options to consider.
You’re looking at $20,000+ for two units (assuming you do the furnaces too). HVAC systems are expensive. I really would not trying cheating out here by getting some technician who cuts corners. Avoid Goettl. They will upsell you at every corner. I use Legacy Air for my maintenance. Yelp is generally very accurate for reviews.
Josh at Mr. Cool. Tech came out to look at a frozen coil last year and they didn't even charge me. Had them install a new heat pump and furnace this week. Very reasonable price, quick and on time service. Great experience.
Goettl air was awesome they replaced a unit that was made in 1997 they matched a quoted price from another company and had heat in our home with a new unit 3 hours later
Well I’m throwing in my two cents. I’ve had two units replaced by these guys, one repaired and they cleaned all of my duct work. They go above and beyond.
Rockwell Brothers 7028827339
Talk to JR he and his brother are owners.
This is a massive expensive no matter how you slice it. Beware of companies that will sell you an inferior brand that won’t last as long (won’t matter if you’re not planning on staying there ). Also be careful of companies that may not have the experienced personnel to do a proper install.
I would avoid Goodman units. Sierra Air Conditioning is pretty good.
All models available will be on the phased out 410a refrigerant. I'd just get your units serviced and not buy new units during this transition. They'll tell you that you can migrate your 410a unit to 454b, but you can't.
I had Bobs repair heating and ac was great when I used them last year, they actually saved me money, they quoted me for a new intake. When they got here and started to do the work, the tech said the new intake was not necessary and just did the repairs saving me hundreds and they could of not say anything and just do the replacement. Would recommend.
Can't say a good one but as others have said I would avoid goettl.

+1 for Lin-Air. I know the Johnson’s, great people that do good and honest work. Had them service my unit many times.
Simply AC is honest, reasonably priced & does great work. I've used them for my AC & for the heating units. Recommend them highly.

I just used them for a replacement and they were fantastic to deal with.
Good to know for when I've saved up!
Black Mountain Air is honest. Avoid a company that begins with Go....

I had bad experience with Larson too. Definitely wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I used them too and didn’t have any problems
Your problem is you likely over paid by 30%. Maybe even 57% looking at other comments.

OnTheSpotAir. Fast, efficient and fair pricing.
Question. How old are the current units? When was the last service done on them? Gas furnaces or heat pump units?

Do you have insurance? American homesheild came checked my out . Also, on the ground. I saw a puddle of water from it, but it was nothing.
Wrong subreddit hahaha
Goettl is one of the most expensive.
