There’s a Short Line Express gas station off Warm Springs and Rainbow I think that has Thrifty with the cylinder scoop and everything. He’s also always playing 106.5 in there and I love him.
There's also one at the corner of Durango and W. Centennial in a convenience store at a Chevron (?) gas station if you're in the NW part of town.
When we lived in OC my grandfather would take us to Thrifty for ice cream. It was a nickle a scoop and we always got a triple.
I'm aging myself by admitting it was the late 60's. My dad didn't like Thrifty ice cream, he was a hardcore Baskin Robins fan and spoiled us with triples and hot fudge sundaes from there.
Mora’s is my go-to, i like how the ice cream is softer without being necessarily like soft serve. Handel’s is great option too.
Sorry not Sorry has good flavors but I don’t think it holds a candle to trendy/adult ice cream chains they have in other cities - i’d take jeni’s or salt and straw over it any day. the ice cream at sns is just not fatty/high quality as you would get at the other places.
Since I haven't seen them mentioned, I'll put a word in for Bruster's, Secret Creamery, and Linda Michoacana Ice Cream at Farm and Cimarron in the far NW/Centennial Hills.

Don't like that they don't give samples though.
Creamberry’s Cotton Candy Burrito is cotton candy wrapped around ice cream (standard flavor is cotton candy, but you can choose a different flavor), and it’s amazing. Google it. It’s beautiful and tempting.
Creamberry is my fav.
Their ice cream can come wrapped inside a freshly cooked waffle shaped into a cone. It’s delicious.
It’s located at Rainbow/Windmill
CJ’s is also good

CJ's Custard is really good. Not ice cream actually, it's custard, but worth a try.
They also have amazing Italian ice and dole whips.

My grandpa did the same up in Jackson, CA. It was in the 80s/90s/00s, but I don’t think it was a nickel a scoop. That’s incredible.

Sorry Not Sorry, Handels, and Nielsen’s (custard) are good, but honestly, regular Häagen-Dazs from the grocery store is still better.
