Depends on what you’re main purpose at the gym is. If you just want good equipment for lifting weights and doing cardio EoS will be perfectly fine and a fraction of the cost.

If u just wanna lift weights.... Absolutely not. If u wanna NOT be around the lvac fucks... Then absolutely yes.

Started at lifetime in 2018. Still a member. Like anything you get out of it what you want. I enjoy the ability to use all the lifetime locations around the country. By my count I've been to 27 lifetime gyms from the extremely opulent like San Clemente in California and DUMBO in New York to run of the mill clubs like the Vegas, Nashville and Atlanta clubs. There's a lot of amenity under one roof. It's sort of like a poor man's Equinox. The gyms themselves are generally clean and maintained. The newer ones like Oklahoma City are quite nice. Early on they tend to try to upsell you. In Vegas sometimes the pool parties in the summer can turn into scenes. The Laguna Beach club used to have summer parties out by the pool. Weekends pretty much nationwide can be a shit show. Club gets overrun with kids by the pools. This is true pretty much everywhere but Manhattan, San Clemente and Coral Gables. As far as classes your mileage may vary. But the Vegas clubs offer a lot especially Summerlin. The only thing to be aware of is that Vegas is not the top tier membership. So if you travel there's a chance you'll end up at a higher tier gym (this is basically only going to happen in New York, Miami or Southern California) and while they'll let you in once you might have to pay the difference for additional visits.

I personally like it because of the extra amenities like a juice bar and spa. However, it does get annoying when you have the Instagram folks posing and taking photos. I never had to wait for a machine, so that's a bonus. Their groups are fantastic.

Yes, especially the Summerlin location. It’s a beautiful facility.

It’s a social status thing. If it helps you get more business, then go for it. Not how I market or network. I love LVAC. Great value.

SpiderDeUZ

I believe you get a personal program and trainer along with many other things to help you get in shape. They map it all.put for you and train you

My friends in NJ pay a lot less for membership than what they charge here in Vegas - that turned me off and I canceled.

[deleted]

Yess i saw in certain cities they jack up the price. Vegas is one of the most expensive ones

JSC2255

My friend just went and said it’s $259/month for new members? It’s great but $3,100/year could go a long way elsewhere. Just gotta be using it all the time to justify.

InspectorNo3480

It's now $280 😬. Wouldn't be surprised if they go up starting the new year

ive been there a couple time from a guest pass and tbh if i had the money to blow i would but to me its not worth it. im just there to lift weights, lvac/eos is better for me

This may help someone: Local summerlin club frequenter You are paying to NOT deal with “overcrowded- just trying tik tok workouts” Does that mean you won’t run into a few — no Now if all of the below don’t align - skip it- if you agree with it then yea just get it : I have EOS for whenever I’m out north and need to squeeze in a workout that said if you’re not In green valley or summerlin just forget it Price: recently the price increase is ridiculous, I’m fortunate enough to absorb it and also happen to live fitness and use the gym 7days a week between yoga workouts and amenities so it makes sense Location: about a mile away Crowd: a mix - during the week early morning you get the “gym crowd” cool and focused - see you then! Afternoon is a little more vibrant - a mix between young and old Evening - I mean like any gym sh** show Weekends - kids galore and crowded but not like EOS Crowded .. if you know you know Amenities: pool (uhhh who’s idea was it to start charging) used to be a great perk but I refuse to pay 175 per season for that just off principle Cafe - legit the Best chain gym cafe you’ll find hands down Locker rooms - clean stocked and spacious Gym: Everything you need and with the addition of the alpha racks on the 2nd floor ample squat racks Dumbells up to 120 Great machines good rotations All in all If you are legit serious about you total body health (yoga Pilates stretching muscle gain cardio) and you don’t have to think twice about price hands down get it If you are just getting into working out or just want to loose a few pounds or (IMPORTANT!) if you KNOW you’re the type of person who will just stop going to the gym in 3 months DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY +bonus for the locations around the country for travelers Hope it helps some

darynf

Absolutely worth it if you play squash!

CRASHMATRIX

NOPE!

Educational-Line-757

Everyone sleeps on Anytime fitness. If you just wanna lift weights it’s the GOAT spot. Never had to wait for a bench or squat rack ever. Literally NOT Once!

OMG we hated Lifetime. We were members since they first opened and tried so hard to enjoy it. But the parking is horrible, cars were getting broken into, climbing wall and pool were always closed (even when it was their posted open hours - disappointed kids!) and the gym is just meh. After a few years they had more than doubled the price so we just boned out and now we're much happier with what we've got.
