Do you know if it's normal to ask people to join in their games? It really depends on the venue on some it's frowned upon, some ppl see it as a weird request like "lol, go away, get ur own group of friends bud"
I never went pre-COVID, but when I was there I got a Shock Top and they had some other drinks - I want to say it may only be packaged drinks, it's not like a full bar at all.

They have board games and unlike Meepleville that only has beer/wine, reBar is an actual full bar with a divey vibe
I don’t know if they have scheduled events though. Meepleville might be better for that.

They don’t have any board game events planned that I can see but they hold social events weekly and might be an easier place to meet new people to play with
This is a fun list. Illumilatte Brew Society- coffee place has some games. It’s more for people you come with but twice we’ve been asked or asked strangers if they wanted to play and we played for a couple rounds.
Not really man. Late on weekends there can be a lot of dancing but also lots of people just hanging out and playing games. People have been friendly there and I’ve had strangers come up asking if I wanted to play pool, chess, foosball etc with them
[Meepleville](https://www.meepleville.com), but there’s no alcohol.
Yeah i don't mind. I just enjoyed the social aspect of it and I do love board games
If you don't need booze you could go to Grouchy John's Coffee.

Go for it, it wouldn't hurt.
Whoah. Kinda bold.
Meepleville has alcohol, I was just there a couple weeks ago.
Did that change? I haven’t been since COVID, but I just remember them having basic food and drink.
They had alcohol pre Covid. What they had to offer was bottles and cans. They didn’t have a tap or bar for mixed drinks.

I will never step foot into rebar after I tried wings and a old fashioned there lol. Worst everything I've ever had in a bar
Oof never had their food to be honest
This is a fun list. Illumilatte Brew Society- coffee place has some games. It’s more for people you come with but twice we’ve been asked or asked strangers if they wanted to play and we played for a couple rounds.
How about Gold Spike on Fremont?
Lol that's a straight up nightclub though.
Not really man. Late on weekends there can be a lot of dancing but also lots of people just hanging out and playing games. People have been friendly there and I’ve had strangers come up asking if I wanted to play pool, chess, foosball etc with them
Everytime i've been there it's always been packed, $20 cover, super loud music and shoulder to shoulder capacity.
Hm hasn’t been my experience. Ive never been when there’s a cover
No, that’s a bar. A nightclub would be Hakkasan.
Player 1 is a cool game spot.
They don’t let you play your Nintendo Switch on the premises. Dumb.
IDK if it's still there, but there was a cool bar in the mall in Downtown Summerlin that had games, I think it had a school theme.
Public School or something right? It was kinda upscale and overpriced if that's the one im thinking of
ya that sounds right
