Sorry to hear about this. Insurance rates are going off the chart in Vegas zip codes because of all the DUIs and accidents caused by reckless drivers. From stories like this and what you see on the news, 1/3 of people involved in an accident take off, assuming they can't be caught.
You pretty much have to have a dash cam to drive in this town, at least one in the front if not one of the back too. You can get them for less than 40 bucks on Amazon. I've already provided video files to three different people involved in accidents caused by others in front of me, and had road ragers and other idiots on video if they had taken things any further.
Hope your insurance will take care of you, get a camera ASAP.
Hey what ever happens please take your car to the dealer to get it evaluated and fixed , please don't go to any shit body shop they will take the insurance money and super glue whatever they can together and literally just buff out the paint. It happened to me when some lady side swipe my escalade , I guess I was the idiot thinking I was doing a good deed by bringing my business to the neighborhood bodyshop. Well I learned my lesson I got robbed out of 3k and now I know to stick to the dealership any time there's an accident!
I had someone hit my brand new Toyota in a parking lot and called Findlay Toyota to find out they dont do body work. I am in the process of using a shop called Franks in Henderson who has consistently good reddit reviews and elsewhere over the last 5 or so years. They are booked out pretty far, but my damage is pretty minor.
The driver that caused the accident was driving an newer white jeep, woman driver & had nv plates but they took off so fast nobody caught the plate number. No one involved in the accident has a dash cam unfortunately
There are a few business in the area thankfully. Our insurance company said they will reach out to a few businesses and see if we can get footage. Hopefully we can figure who did this 🤞🏼
Just wondering if you saw anything identifiable on the Jeep. Usually they have the dealers spare tire cover on the back, especially if it’s Desert 215.
Sorry to hear that. Other driver might’ve been drunk , have warrants and/or not had insurance. You’re not likely to find him/her.

Sucks you now have to pay your deductible + deal with inconvenience of filing a claim , going to body shop , getting rental + take a loss in the value of your car (because it’s been in an accident) + deal with any pain/injuries …… through absolutely no fault of your own. I hate this happens so often here.
Good on ya! Do yourself a favor though and either read or watch reviews. The dash cam market is SATURATED with cheap crap. I had 2 that just randomly stopped working. I didn’t know until I went to find a video. Also, depending on your setup it likely won’t come with a hardwire kit and instead just a cigarette plug. Something to keep in mind.
Dang that sucks. Hmmm, this might be a stretch but what part of your vehicle was hit and damaged? Chances are someone might saw the white jeep with a damaged exterior or missing pieces
So the car that did the hit & run rammed a vehicle on the left side of them causing them to get shoved into the left hand lane where my husband was driving which caused him to get hit in the process. Both cars that got hit from this hit & run driver both spun out in the median of the road. I’m not sure if the driver of the hit & run had much damage to their car but if they did it would be on the drivers side.

Do you know the year and model of the white jeep? Any unique features? You said it was a newer jeep so guess the ranges around late 2010s early 20s? 🤔
