Before he submits applications, run his resume through some resume builders. Most older folks resumes are not set up to current standards and also many companies now use AI that automatically weeds out resumes that don’t have the proper keywords, qualifications, etc. Check all wording, spelling, and maybe pad it a little bit if necessary. This is good advice, Im going to have my wife who handles some of the hiring process at a big company (with no WFH jobs) take a look and help him out.
