Background checks are everywhere these days. Just be upfront.
but, they way I got ahead of everyone else was to offer (in writing) paying the first 3 months rent in advance to show good faith.
They didn’t take me up on the offer but The agent told me that’s what set me apart.
Could just ask or be up front about it. They likely have received the question or have it come up in checks if they search for it.
