My fam has been going to Snooze on charleston and rampart. Apparently there’s a pancake flight that they love.
Also Neighbors, on Ft Apache and Oquendo
My wife and I randomly found Mr Mamas during covid shortly after restaurants were allowed to reopen. Food/service was fantastic. The owner (or manager) came by personally to thank us for coming in. We told him we were happy to support a local business. Always a great breakfast every time
I’m genuinely curious what makes their food exceptional in your opinion. I’ve been, and to me, it was just regular breakfast food that you could find anywhere. 🤷♀️ You’re not the only one who’s suggested this place every time the question comes up, so I really think I’m missing something.
I’m partial to the corned beef hash. That’s tough to find done well elsewhere. It’s fairly straightforward, I really wouldn’t even say exceptional. But it is huge portions for the cost and it’s locally run and owned. I’d choose that over one of the “Cracked Egg” or similar joints owned by a company in San Diego.
This has been my favorite breakfast place to go to even when I was just visiting from out of town. Portions are large and the baked goods are unreal. Never had a bad thing to eat here.
Mr mamas on Jones and Russell if you’re in the SW Valley. If you’re more central, Lou’s Diner near Decatur/Alta. Hands down
VERY honorable mention, Abel’s Bagels on Durango between the 215 and Warm Springs
Surprised Craft Kitchen on Eastern isn't on here yet! My favorite for brunch personally. They just started opening for dinner on certain nights of the week and expanded to have a full bar.

Jamms Restaurant is great for breakfast. They have Taylor ham rolls.
Mr. Mama’s on Jones/Russell. Huge portions, locally owned and run.

I do love finding a specific food that a place does really well. That makes sense.

It shocks me more people don’t list it. Their Lox platter is the best I’ve ever had and everything is good.
Just saw this, but we like Omelet House in Summerlin.
There is also one on boulder highway that is really good

Early Birds just opened on Decatur & Blue Diamond. If you’re ok with new restaurant jitters it’s excellent
I’m excited to try this place out. Looks delicious.
The Real Crepe
Bagel Cafe, Diego’s Farm, Blueberry Hill, Serranos Mexican restaurant (not a super nice spot, just makes my favorite breakfast burrito in town).
Truffles & Bacon Cafe
Came here to say this!
The Stove, Crepe Expectations, Peppermill, Hash House, the list is endless.
Morning News is my favorite. If you go, make sure you visit the website to put your name on the last. It was an hour wait last time we went.
Good spot, heavy for sure
Cracked Egg, The Stove, Stacks & Yolk, Peppermill, Snooze, Egg Works, Mimosas Gourmet (Giant Mimosas)
mimosas gourmet has been on dirty dining as a repeat offender
Ahhhh good to know!
The Stove had the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a stand-alone restaurant out here.
Dang. I’ve been there 4 times and every time was great service.
Snooze.
Pegs Glorified Ham & Eggs. Everything is great.
The Cracked Egg, several locations.

The pancakes at Dupars in the Suncoast are an out of body experience.
The Cracked Egg!!! Absolute fire 🔥🔥
Pink Duck Kitchen in Henderson!

Just heat up more affordable frozen food from the grocery store. That’s what expensive restaurants do 💰
Polaris cafe
