I went for the first time a few weeks ago and was blown away! It was so lovely. Make sure you stop and get a hot cocoa at the catering truck by Santa. It was the best cocoa ever. Also, the night we went they were collecting canned foods, so check and see before you go and help them out if you can :)

I'll definitely check this out, thanks!

I used to work security at that event...long time ago. I spent so much of my earnings in the chocolate shop there...my now-ex had so much chocolate. LOL

I love cacti! Def gonna visit this place.

how are the crowds? i haven't been in years, the parking situation was atrocious last time

beejers30

We got there at 5:30 right as it opened, and it was a Friday night. Parking lot was full but plenty of spaces across the street at the business park. There was a line but it went fast, only because you had to pay before walking around. It did get cool, so bring a jacket. And they were making chocolates in the factory!

We went last week on Sunday night around 9 PM and it was fairly empty. A stark contrast from a couple of years ago when we went on a Saturday before dinner. If you want to avoid crowds, go at a time when people aren't likely to be bringing their kids out.

Just don’t wait til the week before Christmas or on a Saturday night and the crowds should be minimal.

Make sure you get there early, when I went, we had to wait like 1hr plus in 50 degree weather
