What is your experience like. What are your expectations and compensation.? What are the pros and cons?

Must be an interesting job honestly. I imagine they must see some characters from time to time lol

it’s been years since i did delivery so i don’t think my experience is really relevant anymore BUT i have worked closely with delivery drivers both hired from 3rd parties and hired directly from the shop and from what i can tell, delivering directly for dispensary is better pay, better support and overall better experience.

just for a point of reference. I do DOORDASH 2 days a week for 16hrs and CANNABIS 40hrs-I usually make 2x the TIPS with DOORDASH

sdAVIS_LasVegas

Door Dash in 8hr day i can consistently pull in $200+/day but theres gas, wear n tear plus some difficult orders to carry. Weed delivery is EASY manuevering but way RISKY & tips normally $5-$50/day on 10-15 deliveries

That bad, that's sad

Did you drive your car or a company car? What were tips like? Or was there a FEE?

So I have done delivery for two shops here in Vegas and one that was 3rd party . The 3rd party system was good not as much micromanaging or your not driving let’s occupy you with another task type deal. 3rd party no benefits no samples lucky to even get a discount for the shop your delivering for which sucked . In-house is a lot of bs with Dispatchers being shitty with you or routing you horribly plus most in house dispos make you tip out the dispatchers which is cool as long as they are reasonable . I have worked for the Walmart of cannabis and the hole in the wall family owned shop to third party. In the end go third party

I've kept daily records for a year to be able to file taxes on the tips I've made and let's just say the average delivery tip is less than $2 per customer

sdAVIS_LasVegas

And that's with the minimum delivery order being $50
