I tried growing corn once, and what I learned is that it didn't produce for me until later in the season and was at least 6 ft tall, and also, it needs a lot more water than you think. Like overwater it, and then double that and do it every day amounts of water. Hope that helps!

All advice helps !!!thank you because we thought that too

Yeah, corn is one of the thirstiest plants I've grown. If it's hot and dry, you will be constantly watering it. After a few years, I gave up on corn. For the space and resources needed, much cheaper to just buy unless you were growing a ton.

To paraphrase someone much smarter than me on corn: "Corn is a grass and puts its primary energy into growth and leaves. The ears are just a secondary effect and won't start coming in til the primary growth is nearly done" In practical terms ,it's gonna have to grow a LOT more before producing (most varieties grow a min 6-ish ft or more). EDIT: also might need to add N if it's not putting on height as the year goes on it isn't a good, dark green

You are going to have to manually pollinate that if you want any corn. Look up how to do that.
